  1. I would recheck the rules of this gamemode (mostly because you cannot count on all the pictures cause the journal doesn't allow us to), ex:

    1) You start with a roll item.
So it will be flashlight, camera and rolled item.

    2) Starting by when you take the 10th pictures of the journal every 3rd hunt you survive you get an item roll.
This way you are probably close to chain hunt territory, and decisions are going to be high-risk high-reward

I really want to test this

  2. I watched another person’s bleasdale run and saw something interesting that I’d like to see tested further although it’ll be up to chance and hard to prove, but anyways everyone else had died and he’s a newer player so he went to the room with the lights on and outside the ghosts room he asked “are you a Jinn?” and it flicked the lights twice…he then asked “are you a mare?” And it did nothing. He then left and put Jinn in the book and it was a Jinn. He was actually really upset by this as if it’s not a bug and intentional it’s very cheap way to win he never tried it on other ghost types but I thought it was interesting enough to share…

  3. It behave more like Patricia 🙂 Btw, can Yurey use it's ability to drain sanity not constantly? Like a random state of ghost. Can distance to ghost affect how sanity will drop either?

  4. It could be like this: Yurei drops sanity because it roams around at first. But after the act of smudging, Yurei stays in their favorite room. So it will not drop any sanity faster again. I could be wrong tho, but one thing for sure is that your relationship with Nancy is not gonna work.

  5. I'm beginning to suspect there may be a bug with the Ghost behaviors, a lot of them seem to often be inconsistent. In fact, just today while running a Professional Ridgeview, we had a Ghost that we thought was a Wraith, it left no footprints, it was just wandering from the family room to the Master Bedroom and we only had Freezing Temps to go off of. It ended up being a Banshee despite not acting like one at all. It wasn't stalking anyone, it didn't randomly start hunting its target, it was definitely not acting the way it should.

Then we had a Tanglewood Yurei acting like a Mare. It wasn't tanking our sanity hardly at all even though it was manifesting and causing Ghost events pretty often. It was however constantly turning off lights or just flicking them randomly and seemed more active in the dark. So you can imagine our surprise when we just decided to call it after about 30 minutes of only getting one piece of evidence that it wasn't a Mare despite acting like one.

  6. Ok, this was frustrating. All my chips were on a yurei because sanity was tanking. That sanity check at 38% before Insym took a lap in the dark was all I needed.

What is this 14% bs? Is this new? I don't play w evidence much bc I'm a bitch baby and I try to get clues off behavior within 5 minutes of entering. 100% if my sanity dives after "hey!" or a ghost sighting, it's a yurei. And by "tank" I mean I'm down to 68% or lower.

I'm not complaining, tho, because I like long videos.

  7. So… here is a Yurei experiment: Apparently the "twice as fast" drain refers to the sanity drop when seeing the ghost.

Experiment: Get the ghost to hunt and stay within 10 meters & line of sight of it for a known time (for example 20 seconds on highschool/asylum). Apparently a Yurei drops your sanity by 20 during that time, whereas its only 10 for normal ghosts. That sanity drop is 4x/8x as strong as the sanity drop over time, so if your waiting time isn't too long, you should see the difference quite clearly (60 second waiting time: -17 sanity vs -27 sanity for a solo / professional / large map).

I loved that sanity drop approach – which is why I got curious and simply had to do some research on that mechanic ^_^

  8. A good ghost command is "Can you throw something" rather saying "Give me a sign" over 20 times just to get a item to move. It works great against Oni's and Poltergiests when in groups of two or more.

  9. Does higher level account means ghost become more stronger ,or more phrone to attack you? Or also more difficult to catch? Does it affect the ghost if you are level 60 or level 600 ? Please, someone answer me 🙂 Thanks in advance.

  10. The Yurei's sanity drain only doubles when you're witnessing a ghost event, which usually depletes your sanity by 0.2 for every second you're looking at it but depletes by 0.4 if it's a Yurei.
