Alright im glad to hear insym say within two minutes that smudge sticks are bug because i thought i went from a pro to a shitter in the update lmao
I wish they fix smudge sticks fast, I got scammed so many times. I feel like if you don't smudge ghost when it is on your face, It won't get smudged, next ticks won't work, but I saw people dying when they smudged it properly and it seems pretty random
It feels like the same game, and is honestly kind of annoying that I have to restart all of my money and stuff and have to use the crappy gear. The game's biggest issue still isn't fixed, despite this being labeled as a HORROR game this game still isn't scary and is therefore boring to play.

I think the reason the smudge stick isnt working because they dont have infinite range anymore, and its a tier 1 smudge, so you need to be closer for it to work?

Progression with prestige could be interesting if you can customize/upgrade items.
When you prestige you do not lose your items or the shop. Instead you earn prestige points which can be spent on customizing your items or upgrading the item of each tier to have a special trait to make them stand out.
Example:
Tier 1 Thermometer = Glow in the dark fonts and bar to read it in the dark.
Tier 1 Glowstick = Upgraded into a green glowstick, has a 50% increased duration before recharge.
Tier 1 EMF reader = Upgraded to have a louder noise indicator. Can toggle to a different reading mode to track cursed possessions.
Tier 1 Flashlight = Upgraded to have better batteries, improved light range (yet still dimmed).
I think it’d be way scarier if the ghost faded in and out, toggling on and off and being able to fully see the graphics of the ghost model details leaves nothing to imagination which is what makes ghosts scary in the first place, that’s why that “glitch” you mentioned was scary.
1:36:43 when the ghost appeared, and the EMF was going haywire, it kinda sounded like an Irish ring tone from an old school Nokia cellphone.
Will you be making a new beginner guide since the update? I haven't touched phasmo in like years and would like to learn again lol
