In this guide I’ll be showing you how to survive a hunt by employing other tactics – outrunning the ghost or using the looping technique to your advantage.
I’ll also be showing you my top spots on each map for outrunnning and looping.

Usually I don't have trouble with running from the ghosts, it's seeing where they are that's the problem.
But when I do it's because the sight of them drops my braincell amount

We play prison for the first time and got a revenant. One mate died before we knew what hit us. After that, it was all clear that to this time, such shit was out of our leaqu. Not even knowing the map while dealing with a revenant? Nope, better get outa there

In my opinion phasmophobia is reverse pacman theres only 1 ghost and 4 pacman

on Prison, if you find yourself in the cage area by the entrance, you can use the bars to loop around, either loop the entire width of the area or cut through the middle cage door and you can still loop around. its worked for me 😀

Or go on vr lay on the floor and ho somewhere small, that's what I do
looping wont work in future updates because on the trello it says "ghost speed increases the longer the hunt lasts"
Is anyone too freaked out to loop a ghost as well?☹ I wanna try it though!
You know what would be cool? If all ghosts were slightly faster than the player but you can throw stuff at it instead to slow it down. Imagine just running around the dining table and you keep throwing all the kitchen utensils at it
This is going to need an overhaul pretty soon.

i fucking crouch looped a ghost while I was filling my pants with shit

Haha it’s awesome looking back on these older videos to see just how far the game has really come in its mechanics and all that. Looping isn’t even possible anymore with the ghost speed changes. But outrunning can be depending on the situation; such as what map you’re on, what the ghost type is, where you are when the hunt starts and whether or not you got smudge sticks to repel the ghost, etc. I love the changes though, hunts are now much more menacing and are more of a threat, which was desperately needed

Well…. Not anymore we can outrun them 🙁
Soo um my trick is just run to my friends and let them take one for the team-.but mostly loop around the lamp or just ruining when it's a revenant, I usually hide in a locker and just keep closing the door saying "JESUS MAY CLENSE YOUR SOUL"

I tried to outrun a normal speed ghost in prison and It caught up to me after 20 seconds of it breathing down my spine even though I was sprinting
