Welcome to Snowy Willow Street House on Nightmare difficulty. Just how difficult is the new Nightmare difficulty? Let’s find out.
This was from a game played on the release day of the Halloween update so I was still learning the new difficulty. Enjoy!

This update exposed some of the "professionals" and now they are salty
the thing with nightmare is that it forces you to guess the third piece of evidence and it's always random which really added to the difficulty level
Nightmare, as I've experienced it as well as from what I've seen from Nuzz and the other major streamers of Phas has left me with one major conclusion. While I am fully capable of tackling Nightmare on my own (and willing to fail by death or a missed guess), this is a mode where I would love to see my dream of a Hazardous Operations Paranormal Squad realized. Coordinated and tactical, we'd all fill roles critical to the completion of our objective.
Squad Leader (SL) – Head investigator and team coordinator.
Second Investigator (SI) – Works toward completing secondary objectives and assisting the rest of the team when needed.
Roam Tracker (RT) – Patrols areas where the ghost room may be moved to.
Tech Specialist (TS) – Places Cameras and Sensors and monitors them from the truck. (So, Truck Dweller, but aimed at being useful. Having someone who can watch distant hallways or areas of Campsite for opening doors, displaced objects, or even noticing a hunt starting further away and warning the team where it's coming from could be great when done well.)
Operations would be handled in phases.
Phase 1 – Arrival: During this time, SL leads SI and RT in searching for the Ghost Room. TS brings power online and then starts placing cameras / sensors. All team members carry candles in dark areas to ensure sanity is held for as long as possible.
Phase 2 – Evidence Collection: Once GFR is located, the team move to perform their assigned roles. SL works on evidence gathering. SI works on secondary objectives. RT patrols with candle and thermometer. TS stays at the Truck and watches for signs of roaming via cameras and sound sensors.
Phase 3 – Behavioral Investigation: Begins once the two visible evidence types have been found. Phase 3 is split into two parts. The first involves the entire team falling back and regrouping. There, they discuss the current possible Ghost types, and plan out strategies. The second involves execution.
Phase 4 – Exfiltration: This comes after the team has confirmed the Ghost Type or otherwise have decided that the operation is FUBAR (effed up beyond all recovery). The team escapes or dies trying.
– I'd love to see this realized, but I honestly don't know nearly enough people who'd be willing to take a game like Phasmo this seriously and actually get GOOD at coordinated play like this. I consider it a very spoopy pipe dream at best.
Love the vid! Keep up the great content! <3
Also I have a question: How did you know when the second hunt started?
500th
The Onryo can hunt at 100% Sanity is you light a candle and drop it a few times.
Dunno if anyone else found this
Nuzz: Did I see snow here? Nah, it was behind the window
A few seconds later: 2:51
Nightmare is just too intimidating for me, glad I have your gameplay to watch
I love his voice
wondering why you didnt pick up the bone after taking a pic for a few more dollars 🤔
it seems like the hiding places which are blocked with boxes are changing everytime
when you thought the hunt was over then realised the door was locked, I near shat myself. was on edge the entire time you were hiding there.
Just found your channel and really enjoy that you are so thorough without freaking out. Love this game although I don’t have the guts to play so seeing a pro in action takes the fear out it and leaves the fun and mystery.
It's been a treat watching your journey on Youtube. Your content is better than ever.
I still think the devs haven't scaled the ghost events correctly and it is a missed opportunity, a year on.
I was hoping Nightmare would introduce a much higher probability of ghost events to occur but that didn't happen and thus i still find Phasmo boring compared to Ghost Hunters Corp.
It's a real shame as an increased probability of ghost events happening (something like 75% increased chance on Nightmare difficulty and 50% on Professional etc) would bring me back to Phasmo.
I played a few games this week and i had a few games with zero or just 1 ghost event and some games were as long as 30 minutes…
Granny are you okay? Are you okay? Are you okay, Granny?
How can you determine if it freezing with the thermometer with the new ambience mechanic? Is there a set number?
Oh so this is the map I first played. I got the red room downstairs with an obake.
if norway shut down becase of snow it needs to be 1,5 to 2 meteres of snow
I wanna know what im doing wrong.
it doesnt matter if im 100% quiet and no electronics on me. the ghost always finds me instantly with the newest update. makes a b line every time no matter where I hide.
I probably lost 20k within the last handful of days.
never was an issue before this last update
with so few hiding spots in the newest update a lot of times everyone is sharing a hiding spot. and if so and the ghost goes to them everyone dies instantly cause the ghost can chain kills.
idk… needs some tweaking imo
I love it!!… but it needs love
Honestly my only problem so far is the ghost changing rooms, i feel it should either change rooms a lot slower(ie staying in one for a but longer) or they should make it so the changed room can only be so far from the original, especially in larger maps cause then you just get sent on a wild goose chase with no end
Nuzzgard: “She was a goryo”
Me: “WAS?”
Why don't you utilize house lights more?
