Just so people know, the cross-burning is something done to represent the revival of the Ku Klux Klan, which was a racist extremist-Christian organization. It is NOT anti-religious, it extremist religious (and racist). Cross-burning was also used during the civil rights era in opposition to desegregated schools. Finally, racist people have burned crosses on the lawns of Black/African-American people to intimidate them and prevent them from moving to all-white neighborhoods, as well as at lynchings of blacks/african-americans, Jews, Catholics, etc. Many states had banned cross-burning because of its racist and anti-semitic symbolism, until later on when it was deemed free-speech.
Phasmo is supposed to be scary. A burning cross is scary to loads of different peoples. So is a voodoo doll, ouija board, obsidian mirror. So are ghosts and other other-worldly beings. Fear IS the point. Just don’t watch if you don’t care for that stuff. It’s not difficult. 😂Y’all don’t “need to all die” to start fresh….just sell everything to start fresh.
