For everyone saying your game keeps crashing during multiplayer, You need to go into your "steam settings" then head over to "Cloud" and disable cloud saving. Then you will need to Re-encrypt your file (with your already changed values) and then put it in your phasmophobia folder. Then launch the game with cloud saving disabled.
