So my friend Levy recommended we play Phasmophobia and it lead to me getting scared to death, it really was the funniest haunting however because when I insulted the undead it took that personally.
So just a rule of thumb never insult the undead!

dude please make sure your mic is working. It doesnt work when you stream and play. "Nothing detected" should be displayed by default lol. Did you finish the training ?
Spirit box you hold is not for detecting spirit. It is only tool used by the spirit communicating by using radio channel.
EMF device can used for detecting electromagnetic energy and spirit location. You didn't have it.
Usually EMF used first to find the location then place the spirit box and ask the spirit question.
This game spirits listen to your microphone in game. Only in game communication works with the system
