I like how both Insym and Psycho either didn't realize they had the monkey paw, or didn't want to use it
For new players, in a pitch, you can always wish for knowledge and quickly circle a ghost that wasn't ruled out by the wish and your investigation. I did this to fine if it was a Mare of Goryo
