PHASMOPHOBIA RANDOMIZER GOES VERY WRONG

Welcome back to Phasmophobia! In this video we do the ultimate randomizer: we randomize maps, difficulty, and even the players I play with! This was SUPER FUN but also super chaotic. ENJOY!

  1. This video was the reason I accidentally got double my channel points. On the prediction, I was going to bet to leave exactly 5000 channel points left… but I accidentally put in 1k too many. So I went all in… then I was correct. And because of that, I got to about 10.9k channel points! Gaembling

  2. I have an unpopular opinion of removing death from "ghost hunter" games. It adds absolutely nothing to the gameplay.

If you play Phasmophobia it's often just a bummer when someone dies early. Players often want to restart to be all four players in the game again. Why even play together if the game makes someone "not play"?

The death mechanic functions as a "you lost"-state and you lose what you invested and you can't play for the rest of the game. Players just watch and and wait. The point of the game is to find the ghost. That's where the gameplay is at. That's what we want to keep players engaged with. How does a death mechanic add fun here except for the logical punishment?

Instead of death; why not just knock a player out for a minute, break some held items and punish them by making the ghost harder to find?

Items would have to cost more, but that's a good thing. It gives players more reason to perform well, like death also does now. Although death is the worser, non-fun, game mechanic.

  3. It's because of Insym I call fahrenheit freedom units now.
Just a little diddy, at around -40 or so, both F and C are the same number. When it gets that cold it doesn't matter what you measure it in, F or C, it's just Fuckin' Cold m8.
This brought to you from personal experience up in 'Laska. You ain't ever shivered until that frozen hell you've been delivered.

  4. Hey insym, you should try a challenge where your sole objective is to die, and you have five minutes to die and CJ and Psycho have to save you with smudge sticks, crucifixes, cursed objects, etc

  5. Hello Insym! I'm not sure if you actually read these or just heart them, but I would love to see some strat roulette! Spin the wheel and see which challenge you get kind of a thing. Maybe for a special run some time!

Some of the other challenges I do while playing solo is One item at a time, Random number generator for how many items I can use, so I'd have to pick strategically given the number of items I'm allowed to use. Example, I roll 5 items. I can only pick 5 items from the wall to use the entire game. There is no unlocking items. Definitely can lead to fun games!

  7. What about a reverse photo randomizer? Where every picture you take you roll to be unable to use an item anymore. Like if you rolled dots you'd have to take it up from the floor, if you rolled pills you cant take any more. You would HAVE to play the game like a normal photo randomizer though, as in you can't ignore an interaction and not take a picture of it.
