Phasmophobia – The Twins – The Most Complicated Ghost(s) Yet?

Twitch: https://www.twitch.tv/nuzzgard

Welcome to one of my first missions with The Twins on a smaller map, where I could actually do some testing with their power in a smaller environment. The Twins’ power is fascinating; I believe one will give off evidence, and the second can only interact with the environment.
The catch is that either one of them can hunt, which can catch you off guard as they might hunt from somewhere unexpected due to them both potentially being in different locations. Only one will hunt you at a time so don’t worry about having to deal with 2 ghosts during a hunt.
I’m looking forward to testing them more in the future as this was one of my first proper experiences with them. Enjoy!

  1. I think they both should be able to drop evidence. Imagine if you find the ghost and you get 2 evidence and it just wont drop the third. It makes the game more challenging. Then their Poltergeist/Oni behaviour may make one think that they are a Poltergeist or an Oni, and therefore one could skip the third evidence and assume the ghost solely on behaviour. If they are roaming ghosts, the challenge becomes even more challenging especially in bigger maps. I think this ghost is the most fascinating one and they can do so much with it.

  2. I had a really hard time tracking down twins that was in one of the smaller bathrooms on Edgefield as I kept getting false leads in the hallway. I can see it being really hard in larger maps and higher diffs.

  3. I had the twins on nightmare mode asylum earlier and managed to work out the ghost type with sounds and motion sensor. Their rooms were pretty close together which confused me at first but the sound sensors gave it away as I had no activity board to look at.

  4. In about 4 entire days of playing this game, i had the twins twice. One game i was scared so much i just took the 50/50 and guessed it wrong and the other was a ‘speedrun’. These ghosts are so extremely rare even with increased chance of them spawning because of the halloween event.

I was also playing in VR so i get scared really easily.

  5. here's what i got from the wiki about the secondary twin:

The other Twin wanders around the map, interacting with the environment. This wandering Twin cannot set off motion sensors, and cannot respond to the Spirit Box nor spread Freezing Temperatures, but its interactions may give off EMF Level 5.

so maybe you can't detect the second twin with motion sensors the only way is maybe using EMF reader

  6. U got to check out Insym's guide on the twins. He had a video with the twins and he's playing with CJ. CJ explained it very clearly how the twins works. If u didn't get evidence other than EMF around the area an interaction is taking place, u are dealing with the decoy twin. If u look at the activity board, all activities come in pairs. Only the main twin will give u the evidence. If both twins are in the same room, it can give u interactions back to back too. Making u think it might be poltergeist.

  7. I've also been noticing that the thermo will give a warm reading when you first run through the map and when you try to find the ghost room again, thats when you'll get the actual ghost room. Sometimes, freezing doesn't appear at all until you and your friends are in the ghost room.

  8. I have an explanation for the random low spikes: ambient noises. Sometimes the floor creaks and the parabolic also picks that up with a low reading. Parabolic and sensors aren't the same but it makes sense in my eyes.

  9. I've noticed that the twins are generally in 2 adjoining rooms, I've yet to come across the twins in rooms across the map, which makes it difficult to determine if it's the twins or not, as a lot of activity does bleed into close rooms.

Not saying that rule is absolute yet, but I've yet to get the twins far away from each other.

  10. yep.. that's twins for you. the line sometimes is not straight, and that's a tell tale sign. The two sensors at the same time is as well. Sound sensors.. I was told motion sensors only works on the ghost, not the decoy. I just had them myself. I thought it was emf5, but the crooked line confirmed it. Loving your videos explaining everything. Will try catch your stream 🙂
