  1. I wonder why your channel all of a sudden has age restriction. You don't swear or say anything even remotely offensive to anyone. I'd say your channel is clearly PG. Very odd. Congrats on 20k subs! You were the first youtuber I watched for Phasmophobia and still going strong. I've learned a lot and been entertained greatly!

  2. Thermo is also helpful for the fact that i've been getting freezing breath on a non freezing ghost often in the latest beta…. (Freezing temps, fingerprints, and very aggressive so we assumed banshee, only to find it was instead a rev?)

  3. Venttex: "No sightings or violence? Then what am I doing here??"
lol "There've been no sightings, no violence, no strange sounds, no flickering lights, nothing paranormal in the least, nothing happened to indicate a ghost haunting this place whatsoever. Good luck! Here's the key!"

You'd think the high school would be the first place to find a locker to hide in… not that it's all that necessary with the long halls, but still…

Paramic remains pure wonkiness. If it were to function like the Spirit Box getting you special interactions- spooky whispers or mutterings or something- it would still be pretty useless, but at least fun. Meanwhile with wonky temps the Thermo is still reliable. But I definitely want the dev to increase wandering, opening doors on the other side of the building, creeping you out wherever you go, not letting you be safe from its tormenting just because you're not in its room- just makes it much more immersive. That's Phasmo's biggest appeal- how it feels like a real malevolent presence skulking about somewhere stalking you and salivating as you start reaching 50% sanity… despite being just a brainless game AI with randomized, scripted behaviors.

Mostly I want the dev to invest in what you suggested in a recent vid: make a nice variety of random events that get wilder as your sanity drops- possibly themed as well. Nothing as over-the-top as Resident Evil 6, just more and more obvious examples of the ghost's malevolent intentions. Replace dirty water w bloody water. Do more w items being teleported around and ghost sounds, more ghost "talk" than single-word Spirit Box comments and the same vocal fry sound for every ghost. So much he could do… And that could function like a sanity meter as well- monitoring your sanity by disturbing event severity instead of having to run back to the truck to check a number.

  4. I knew it. I knew the thermo wasn't made dead. It's great in multiplayer, too, because you just send someone to the breaker room and then bam, a slow-but-just-as-reliable-as-before thermometer. It honestly NEEDED a nerf like this, because it trivialized finding the room.

  5. Regardless, I'll be experimenting with various ways to find the general area of the room, and pinpoint the room. I doubt I'll be running thermometer in every case, but we'll see.
