I have a weird relationship with spicy stuff, like mild sauce is kinda spicy to me but stuff like ghost pepper or hotter has less and less effect on me, I assume it's just another weird ginger thing

Popsicles are my go to for spicy stuff. I tried a dab of Da Bomb on a toothpick, coughed a bunch, and had a popsicle just in my mouth until it was gone. It helped a lot xD
