not gonna lie… I'm level 30 and i'v tried to get a photo of footprints every single time it lets me… probably a good 60 photos attempted. And never once have I seen it actually count.

Just a pointer on the insurance photos you get money for those on Amature and Intermediate, Professional you do not get money from those pictures so don't waste the film trying!

What counts as an event for taking pictures of? Phones ringing? Radios turned on? Objects thrown/knocked over? Doors opening/shutting?
In one of the house missions (the one with the tv room to the left of the front door), there is a trash can outside the front door that’s counts as a dead body when you take a picture of it.

You can get 2 photos from a Ouija board. Turn it on and take a pic for a Ouija board pic, and ask it a question and get a response and taking a picture can give you an interaction bonus pic. Also Try putting Ghost Writing books, emf readers and ouija boards on top of a table or surface instead of leaving it on the floor to get a better chance of getting proper credit for the pic. Voodoo dolls can glitch sometimes, if so pick it up and throw it and repeat until it runs a little, then take a pic for an interaction.
