can someone tell me i think i have missunderstand something about the oni. sorry for my english im from argentina :s. the ghost can do a sound like "uhh" in your ear and you see some mist like freezing floating. i saw multiple times insym discarding the oni after the ghost did that event. i understood that onis are the only ones that cannot do that event. but yersterday i have to choose between oni and yurei and the ghost did that so i went for yurei but was and oni ://. can someone explain me the thing with the event so i can understand it? <3

As someone who hasn’t played a ton of phasmo the most memorable thing about this map to me was back when modded servers were a thing I join a 100 person lobby with my friend and it was an absolutely mess. It was really funny with the host flying through walls and me and my friend were calling him crab god while everyone was dying and screaming lmao. Good times.
I bought phasmo exactly on october 7th 2020 (Based on my purchase history on steam) and i am so happy to see it flourish the way it did, and it is becoming so much better each year for such a small dev team as well.

my buddy and i are about to attempt the no key challenge on asylum while its still the current design and before they patch that glitch XD it was tricky to get it working but we can do it 1/3 times
Perhaps in the not-so-distant future, they can add variants of the same map around. Like, procedurally generated maps.

My last trip to Asylum, I had a ghost in the far back basement room on the left side, a goryo. I spent most of my time carrying equipment to the ghost room and only a few minutes actually investigating the ghost, then got hunted and killed almost instantly despite having a smudge stick because there's just no place you can safely hide from the ghost when it's in those far rooms.
Quite honestly, I won't miss the old Asylum, it's by far my least played map for exactly this reason, it's only really a viable map in multiplayer because it's just TOO big and there's not enough places for you to escape if the ghost chooses a bad room.

Easiest way to figure out which of those 3 rooms was the Ghost Room would be to have the three stand in each room and have the fourth person use the mirror to see which person they were seeing. (This is for the group session where Insym thought he saw a plant in the mirror just in case anyone gets confused as to which part I'm talking about.)

My fondest memory of the old Asylum was doing a solo run on Pro difficulty pre-difficulty patch.
I walked in, turned on the lobby lights first thing. The ghost then immediately turned the lights off, and manifested directly behind me. Without guessing the ghost, I simply went back to the truck and left without a word.
It was a Banshee, back when they were capable of doing anything at any time the moment you walked in the door. Absolutely terrifying, and I'll never forget it.

I’ve gotten 2 perfect games without the Ouija Board (one with Mirror and one with Music Box).
It can take a lot longer since you either get lucky and find the bone by chance or have to check every room until you find it. Also depends on which bone you get, since the classic “tube” bone would be much harder to spot than the ribcage or pelvis for example.
They need to add an SLS Cam.
