  1. if making some of the sensors useless now why just not put them on the objective list same with paramic, sound sensor and the IR motion sensor of course that became useless again just literally put all of these objectives and people be using these one way or another xD

  3. If you don't mind the request, can you suggest in the content-creator channel to make is so "The owners have left us a key, it's ready on the desk for you" only plays if you haven't picked up the key? That would be a very handy audio cue to avoid the walk of shame. Also, cheers for all the great content and RIP the magic light boxes. * sad ghost hunter noises *

  4. Guess with the loss of the IR Sensor bug Romantic Dinners will be a bit more “Intimate” huh, no more mood lighting?

Jokes aside, I think it’s safe to say the IR Sensor desperately needs a buff of some kind. It’s borderline useless as a tool aside from the edge case where, as you pointed out, you use several to judge ghost speed (a situation that arises incredibly infrequently).

Probably the easiest buff I could see would be making it another defensive tool. Something along the lines of “The Light emitted when it’s Triggered is of a frequency that Disrupts the Ghosts ability to maintain its form during a hunt, slowing it briefly” (With an obvious Cooldown and immunity period for the ghost to avoid loop abuse).

The core idea here being you set up a few along your intended escape path and it gives you a few precious seconds where, even against the King of Speed that is a revenant, you can get some safe distance in the event of a chase/hunt.

This would also lean towards your frequent suggestion of a “Sprint Burst” style movement option for players, with the idea being “Use IR to create a safe escape path, use Sprint burst to get your initial distance down that path, Find a hiding place before the ghost catches up”.

Just my two cents on this of course, but IR sensors have been bad for a long time, so anything that makes them more useful would be a plus in my book (and players have very little in the way of “Reliable” protection (most are very hit or miss) so another option would be useful, especially since it would give it multiple uses, one investigative, one defensive).

All that aside, love the content Insym, keep it up! (Easily my fav creator to watch during dead time at work!)

  5. Wow this explains my comment from the other day. I was playing with 2 VR people and got 3 perfect games in a row so I was mega confused. Makes a lot more sense now cause I totally shouldn't have. Sad to see IR bug go but makes sense not to have it that way.

  6. They should make IR Lights wider cone of effect but a fixed length so it doesn't reach far but is quite wide.

so if you walk up to the sensor beside it, it will go on and stay on.

  7. A cool idea for the infared light sensor would be to have the perms light on be the normal white, but once a ghost walks by it, it plays liek white noise and the light changes to red. It would be helpful, and kinda scary

  8. I wonder when he is going to fix the candles not working on some map? He has been nitpicking over these small bugs the last week or two while we got that huge one with the candles.

  9. It's hilarious that in your most recent video with Psycho, you said you hoped the Infrared bug wouldn't be fixed. LMAO. Also I liked your movement speed detection strat with them a lot. Big brained. I do wish it had more use though, yeah. (Personally I thought the broken IR sensor was definitely an "exploit" and it actually annoyed me if I was trying to utilize them as intended and then someone broke them.)

  10. I'm glad you got to make the VR video before the patch. This game is really coming together ,and I'm still enjoying . I even like to join in games with people who add challenges …
