  1. You could say the ghost had an Ace up his sleeve, or in this case a deck instead of the sleeve :p Sorry about the echo for almost half of the game :/ was a great game though <3

  2. I just loved the part where she was brought back to life and then she died, the tarot cards can be really unreliable sometimes xd. Keep up these type of videos man. Amazing Vid.

  3. One reason people can echo in Phasmo is if they are using headphones with built in mic plugged into an on board sound card. Need to get a seperate mic, sound card, or both. Possibly switch to USB headset/mic?

  4. My friend and I mute our game and use discord to communicate because we're chickens and the noises in the game scare us. We'll get there eventually but we're too chicken right now. It's kind of sad.

  5. 8:15 That is not true. I use 7.1 surround speakers and that is just as good as a headset. Also that is why I cant play the latest updates because my mic just picks up every game noise that plays from the speakers.

  6. The odds of dying once to the Hanged Man is 1 in 100 or 1%.
The odds of getting the High Priestess after drawing a Hanged Man is 1 in 5000 or 0.02%.
The odds of getting the Hanged Man again after being revived is 1 in 500000 or 0.0002%.
Since there are 7 more cards (10 total, minus the three required to draw) in a deck of tarot cards, the probability increases to 1 in 71428 or 0.0014%.
The odds of actually getting tarot cards on a mission is 1 in 6, so the probability again reduces to 1 in 428568 or 0.0002%
It would take 428,568 missions of Phasmophobia to ever encounter this.

Furthermore, if each mission lasts 20 minutes, it would take 142,856 hours or 5,952 days of playing this game nonstop just to encounter this.
That's equivalent to 8,571,360 minutes. Or 514,281,600 seconds. If you really wanted to go crazy, it's also equivalent to 514,281,600,000,000,000 nanoseconds.

That's not even the full odds. This isn't even taking into account getting the cards in the right order. I just thought that that even I'd draw the line here. That's enough math for me for today.

  7. Microphones echoing like that is caused by the microphone picking up what the speakers are playing.
This can happen either with a desktop with actual speakers and no headphones, a laptop, or a really bad headset
It is most likely a person playing on a laptop not using headphones.

  8. Ghost Storytime #9: In which I write a brief biography of the ghost based on the quirks of the investigation.

Steven Williams was one of the most famous gamblers in the west, but he didn't start that way. At the age of 30 as a bachelor, having been drawn to the west coast by the prospect of becoming rich by means of never-ending gold, he left his old life behind and attempted to make a new one as a prospector.

But… It wasn't meant to be, and Steven quickly found himself deep down on his luck with only a few dollars to his name. So he did the only rational thing a person in his situation would do; started to gamble.

And he was damn good at it, if he did say so himself. Within a few nights he had cleared out more than a few tables with his malleable manipulations and his inscrutable poker face. By the time he was in his early 40s, he could retire simply on the dough he had made for himself through casino work.

When he did die in a shootout between him and a few debtors, folks began to notice something strange about his wealth and his possessions; those who inherited them became unnaturally reckless and risky, gambling more than their money and often with their lives.

Through the years this became the "Curse of Old Man Stevens". Some say that the house that houses his wealth invariably possesses Steven's gambling spirit as well. Investigators often throw away caution and play with fate with reckless abandon in the presence of inscrutable Old Man Stevens… And the losers feed his ever-growing vault of souls to gamble with for his own ends.

  9. I hate to ask the question here but my friend and I have had the echo bug for over a year and was wondering if anyone knew how to fix it? I've looked around google for fixes but all I managed to find was other people speaking about having the issue themselves.
