The big update is finally here! This video explains EVERY change in this massive update. This will bring you completely up to date with all the changes!

Current patch is now finally updated with all the beta changes! They also announced they are going to be working on new content from now on! Which could mean new maps and or ghost types! I am super excited. Hope this video was helpful for you! Much love and see you during the streams! 😀

    IMO, the old system made more sense. What it meant is that, if a team of four goes in and 3 of them die — are viciously compelled to commit suicide by the will of a supernatural being — the last guy can't just take sanity pills and pretend they didn't just lose 3 lifelong friends. They're going to be shaken, just like in reality. Barely able to complete the mission.

    If 2 people go to a haunted cabin and 1 watches the other strangle themself, he's not going to take a Xanax and go back inside, you know?

    The new system is cleaner though, I suppose!

  2. High-key hoping one day they bring back the team member character doppelganger that is actually the ghost. I never got to witness it but it would be creepy af if it were made a rare event. Btw Insym I love your commentary and gameplay vids! I like that there are no cuts and the video just flows, as well as no music or anything in the background. Your Pokémon's also just about end me from their cuteness, so there's that <3

  3. personally had that infinite hunt thing while in vr… playspace mover allowed me to leave the building which made it finally stop hunting… yes cheated.. but it needed to be done lol. i was last one alive… so meh.

  4. hey insym! so me and my friends did a randomizer and we had 0 light sources on high school (no flashlight, no candle, no infrared sensors, no higher brightness settings)

    we all died obviously but with your knowledge of the maps and your skill i wanna see you try

  5. What I would like to see is
    1. A rework of photos, the more rare the photo is the more worth the photo is e.g. Dirty water and dead body should be worth more.
    2. Add more photo types, to many photos are interaction, also not a big fan of photos of interaction when something is moved. In real life go explain to someone; in this photo the ghost moved the door, the response would be, I am sure he did… For interactions you should actually have a video camera setup of the room, but that is not really practical and being able to record a short video would not be easy as most likely the event would end before you hit record.
    3. Add IR and UV cameras or a more advance full spectrum camera that can be toggled between the modes by changing the filters. This would allow adding ghost orbs as photo evidence, much better UV photos of fingerprints and foot print photos.
    4. Add more item movement; walking giggling dolls, music boxes starting to play music, floating furniture, spelling out words with blocks, knives being thrown around and plates (breakable) more atmospheric/scary, I would like to see players being terrified being in a ghost room.
    5. Candles should stay lit, and only have a chance to be blown out by the ghost or in areas where there should be a draft. Candles generally do not go out by them selves.
    6. More different hunting mechanics than just one fast ghost, one semi fast, one semi invisible e.g. Wraith has a chance to pass through an obstacle when chasing a player. Mare should turn off all electric items when hunting, including your torch so you have loop in the dark. Jinn should be able to teleport to any room if the breaker is on to try and cut you off. Daemon or Oni should be able to travel on the ceiling and walls. Poltergeist could move items out its way or in your way. Phantom should have a higher chance of hunting while being invisible, especially if you try and take a photo of it during a hunt. etc.
    7. Different strength ghost that are linked to the level you are playing on, so on professional you would have a higher chance of getting a more ancient/difficult ghost that has more abilities. This can be added as a bonus objective to find out the strength of the ghost.
    8. Ability to upgrade the truck and lobby with all the extra money you make.
    9. The cameras should also flicker on and off during a hunt.
    10. Ghost should have a chance to mess with your equipment e.g. switch off or throw your camera around, teleport any item left on the ground to another location including video cameras as well, to make it even more difficult to discover the ghost.
    11. Add a Split items button when playing with other people so the game can split the items between available players equally.
    12. Change the Total Activity meter from having numbers to None, Low, Medium, High and Dangerous. None =0, Low = 1 – 3, Medium 4-6, High 7-9, Dangerous = 10.

  6. I stopped using the thermometer all together at v 0.25.5 Let your ears have the glory. Allowing the ghost to jump scare the truck occupants if more than half the team is in the truck. RiP solo operators.

  7. Oh man finally i can stop switching between beta and regular to play with friends.
    Also that prison bug fix where the ghost room could be in the cells and the bathroom/hallway!
    I got that bug once and it was one of the hardest games i've played

  8. i think 2 ghose maps would be a nice addition, like a massive building, have rooms tagged to allow ghost 1 or ghose 2 and some rooms that only allow 1 ghost access ect XD
    like a mansion idk

  9. The only time I take thermo now is when it's prison, highschool, or asylum and someone else on the team is grabbing the breaker. If you cant find the ghost room by sound right away on the bigger maps, then the temps are usually raised enough to use the thermo.

He took way to long with updating the game and kind off killed the game because of that i get the idea why he did it this way but dont recommend doing updates this way if you whant to keep the player happy instead of forcing players to play on the experimental build for months lets hope he will do it better from now on and keep the game back on the list

  11. I really wish the Para Mic worked! As someone who is partially deaf I can’t rely on using my ears for sounds and that’s where the Para Mic would come in handy ☺️

  12. Seems to be a weird superiority thing against how people should and should not play the game growing in the community… kind of a bummer and seems to be missing the point of playing the game in the first place.

  13. As an amateur ghost hunter in IRL, the changes to the thermo actually reflects real life. From what I've heard, the paramike changes also reflects IRL, but I cannot attest to that myself as real paramikes are quite expensive.
