The Biggest Jumpscare I've Ever Had – Phasmophobia in VR

Welcome back to Phasmophobia! In this video we FINALLY play VR again! It has been a very long time since I last played VR and that’s partially because it’s so dang scary to play this game in VR. In this video I get my biggest jumpscare in over 2000 hours of playing this game. ENJOY!

  1. As a VR dev it breaks my heart seeing Phasmos VR in such state. A lot of it comes down to the interactions being very funky and inconsistent. To fix this it would take time and good planning. You can see that the game is going flatscreen first and VR dragging behind. It would be awesome to have properly functioning VR phasmo. Performance is acceptable and you can use the recently added FidelityFX to get significant fps boost. My first time ever play Phasmo was in VR and it was so terrifying that I was lying on the ground with my eyes closed, hoping the ghost to just end me 😀 I want that again!

  2. I have only ever "played" Phasmophobia in VR. When i say played, i did start the training map..but after 5 min, of me not being able to enter the house much, but mostly look down towards the tv inside..I was reminded of the nightmare i have had so many times, of me entering a haunted house, where i have to confront a ghost. This old nightmare, keeps me at lvl 0, as i am to scared to enter and play.. I can however watch Insym play it!

  3. Funnily, last time I played phasmo in VR it was actually less scary for me than normal. I think I just assumed I'll just mess the controls and die if there's a hunt, and accepted it, while I stress out when playing normally 😛

  4. I love playing phasmophobia in Vr, I tried streaming it in VR once but it was very laggy. And Camp maple lodge is almost unplayable for me. I really hope they do another BIG VR update

  6. for me, my most played VR game is "until you fall" super fun hack n slash game where it plays like beat saber but you're fighting knights and eldritch monsters. super under-rated game imo!

  7. Horror games in vr are the future? horror games are such a niche genre that it will never be the main thing, but shooters in the other hand are super popular, and some new ones are really good too! I just hope that ANY good game and genre makes it to big leagues and makes VR more popular than ever, gaming in VR is so much fun but unfortunately its so expensive atm that it just cannot be mainstream.
