My prediction for the lightswitch thing, was that it turned it on but insta ghost evented which turned it right back off.
You can die on the stairs through the wall on this map too

another fun stat on the screen would be time spent in the van, cause my friend is always in the van and its getting annoying cause he never brings stuff in i mostly do everything by myself and he is just sitting there checking cams

i recently had a similar oni experience, but it was on tanglewood instead of edgefield. i literally just started my mission, walked into the house, and not even a second after stepping into the house, the ghost manifested, closed the entrence door and blew up the lightbulbs in the entrance hallway. Afterwards it proceeded to open the closet doors like 5 times in a row. needless to say, i instantly found the ghost room, and also shit my pants

For me, Ridgeview is the cursed house. My friend and I used to die almost every time we went, usually in the dining area. 😂

Edgefield is my favorite map and I do have some craziest experiences. On nightmare mode, I said hide and seek to the ouija board (Ghost room was in the girl's bedroom) before running off to hide in the bathroom in the master bedroom. I was trying to figure out if it was a yurei or a revenant. The ghost literally did a ghost event in the bathroom before started hunting in the exact same spot. It was intense and it turned out to be a revenant. I survived. The craziness in revenants have increased tenfold since the update. They used to be quieter than a shade with me, but now they're berserk.
Had an Edgefield banshee in the garage eat my crucifix still in the truck.
