I had two Poltergeists which barely did anything, an Obake that never bothered changing when I was looking at it hunting from outside and turned off the Breaker so often I thought it was a Hantu and a Banshee that refused to scream.
I'm still not done with this challenge and I stopped having fun 5 investigations ago.

I just started playing the game a few weeks ago with my bf and his brother and we are having so much fun 😀
I was so proud we actually figured out two ghosts yesterday during this challenge. (failed many more but pssst xD)

So, we have had mares going specifically into lighted rooms and avoid dark rooms, shades tossing plates at our heads and loving doors, the whole house having freezing temps, Thayes starting off slow, music box runs to the end of the song and no hunts happen even though the box is in the ghost room, summoning circles not working at ALL, as in all the candles blow out themselves, and lots of other ghosts that arent working but I cannot remember them right now. Because of the ghosts not working as intended it took us 11 tries to get this weeks no evidence challenge done…
Don't you love when it's a mimic twice in a row and both times you forget to note it in the book 🙁
It's the same time both easy and hard. My 3 ghost was obake, mimic and oni. The easy one. But when they was the hard one just disaster haha
My first run was an Obake. Just had ruled out Spirit and Yokai, and only had Yuri, Polter, Mare and Twins also remaining. I was hiding behind the armchair upstairs and got the urge to check for Obake shapeshift, For the two seconds I saw the ghost it did the shift to the naked man. It clears the last step and is coming to kill me, then the hunt ends. So clutch:-)
i had demon, which started to hunt the second i entered the house, second was deo and third mimic… so yeah XDD

I had a myling and it broke half of the lights of the house…
I have one question, is there a reason Why we stopped doing the language challenge?
Me and my friends have only been playing for about a week to two weeks so this challenge was particularly tough as we're not experienced enough to be able to make concrete guesses based off of how it hunts. We had to do the challenge I think 7 or 8 times before we got three of them. Luckily we got a Mimic and Wraith in there which made two of them incredibly easy. We managed to guess Obake for one of them because the journal said they don't interact much.
This was easier than I thought.
I got a Mare first off, but thought it was a Hantu. Then guessed the others correctly. Wraith (covered the floor in salt, no steps) Phantom (disappeared after photo taken) and then a Morai (It was slow at first then was speedy after a while, i took pills as it hunted and it slowed down during a hunt) no deaths 🙂 easy money!
me and my friends played yesterday and we didn’t get one correct ghost type, watched your ghost guide video earlier today and hope I can use some of the things I learned!
My brother and I had this challenge pretty easy. Had an obake, revenant, and another obake. Easily figured out obake shape shift and rev speed lol
24:22 – I disagree about the Banshee requiring infinite time to be sure of. Forget the paramic; all you need are some motion sensors. They roam to their target very often. You only need at most three minutes per roam; I've had two of them roam as often as one and a half times per minute, while some may be a bit slower to do it.
As for my own experience with this challenge, I lucked out pretty hard! I got a Spirit, then a Wraith, then a Phantom, all in a row, same order as they are in the journal. Spirit was hunt timer tested, Wraith did an event far from its ghost room so I put it through the salt test and got it that way, and Phantom did its blinky thing during a hunt. Couldn't have asked for a better set of ghosts to get.
Just went on and broke the mirror. Got 2 Deos and a Thaye, one after the other. As a wise man once said… Freest $3000 of my life.

I got a yurei, we got it wrong bc theyre MEAN. rev was easy to tell though when it went fucking sonic the hedgehog to murder my friend. Then got a spirit and i was like y'know what this ghost is boring as fuck i bet ita a spirit and thats it! Thats the game. LOL (one more game left, im trying to get my friends into the challenge mode in small doses)
I actually hated this challenge. Not because I hate the challenge but because it was super bugged for me and my friends
For example we had no breaker at all (we played on two separate days multiple rounds) and we had ghosts randomly start hunting multiple times in a row when no one was in the house.
Not my favorite challenge 🫠
I got pretty lucky with this challenge. Completed it in about 40 minutes. I got a Shade sandwiched between two mylings. The mylings were, like, 5 minutes each. The shade was 25 minutes only because i had to be sure it was a shade, i've had other ghosts act shady before.
It took 6 matches to finish my challenge and I'm still working it to help my friend finish her challenge. Two of my three wins were because it was a mimic and one was a polt. Did a huge polt-bomb and it was awesome
As a new player (a few weeks ago) but avid Insym and Psycho watcher, this challenge was very fun for me and my group. We added a 4th when we got our 3rd successful ghost and we wanted to complete the challenge for him as well so we ended up going for 5 successful rounds! We got lucky twice, once Mimic orbs and once a Banshee scream. But we got bamboozled a few times! Great learning experience. Super fun!!
Usually for mare i just keep turning on and off the light in the ghost room waiting for it to turn off instantly and its not that hard but maybe a little tedious
Round one I thought it was gonna be easy cause I got a Deogen. Round two I got killed by a Wraith which could have been easy but messed up. Round three, confused a Hantu with the Twins because of the change of speed. Round four, got a Yurei wrong, cant remember what we thought it was. Then we thought it was fast but it turned out to be a Mare, we thought it was too quiet but it turned out to be a Yurei, then it didnt step on salt at all but ended up being a Myling, baited by a Jinn not sure what confused us, got a Demon that hunted almost exactly at 90 seconds so it confused us and then finally got a Wraith and a Shade right which wasnt too complicated.
17:11 my group literally got 3 Yureis in a row. Once we got it with the door interaction. The other two times we got it with flipping the coin against the Goryo. We were so meticulous and eliminated every other ghost thanks to your teaching. You would have been so proud of us.
