Welcome back to Phasmophobia! In this video we check out the weekly challenge and this time it’s the cave man challenge. I expected they would make this a normal no electronics challenge but it seems like any advanced equipment isn’t allowed. ENJOY!

  1. I don't think the game is having trouble recognizing the microphone, but I think it's a bug that I noticed where all of the voice-activated items are INSANELY delayed on reading your voice. A workaround I noticed for this problem is if you are using push to talk you need to speak: release your PTT button, and then press your PTT button again. Even without saying anything it will instantly read your last voice input. I have to do this for the spirit box, monkey paw, and oujia board right now.

  2. This challenge was fun for me I got a yurei in the first game and was lucky enough for it to do it's ability right away, second round was deo which I figured with a hunt and last game was a goryo which was kinda obvious cuz it wasn't roaming at all the whole time

  3. Every single ghost on this challenge gave me ghost writing, nearly every ghost gave me freezing temps, and only one ghost gave me UV. Guess I got lucky, but basically every single ghost came down to "is it fast on a hunt or no?"
    Loved the inclusion of the ouiji board for this challenge, because it lets you very carefully control your sanity drain. If the evidence comes down to "fast or not" you just ask whatever questions are needed to drop your sanity below 50 and listen to the hunt. If it comes down to early hunting / late hunting, drain your sanity just enough to test for it. I had a fast ghost hunt above 50% with ghost writing = guaranteed thaye.

  4. I did this challenge this week and got it right once. The most useful items were the glow stick for seeing and crucifix, and my sanity percentage when it burned the first crucifix helped me narrow it down..

  5. I've been saying the lighting system since the update is BS. I have poor nightvision irl and I can even see better than this in the dark. It feels like the devs are just saying "screw you" when they do things like this and that irritates me on top of being unable to see. I get severe anxiety when I can't see. Beyond the "fun" tension of a horror game. It makes the game a lot less fun for me.

  6. I was able to guess a Polter in Brownstone Highschool without even entering the location by looking at the EMF chart, I just opened the door and went back to the truck,
    suddenly it went up to 10 which the ghost should not hunt while I am outside and took me like 10 seconds to remember that it may have been the polter throw doing a lot of activity at the same time.

  7. It's funny I thought this was gonna be impossible and me and my two buddies literally got it done 3 missions in a row lol. They definitely should have atleast put it on professional difficulty

  8. Strength of light is fine. The spread of light is ass. Like Tanglewood, you could have the light on in living room, and go into dark dining room and not see the light from living room at all. Which would not happen at all. Especially in almost complete darkness. That light would spread like crazy

  9. I see a 30 minute video. Yep, that seems about right. Thank you for finally explaining how you determining EMF 5 with the board. I have only been watching for a few weeks, and it is something I have been waiting for you to clarify.

  10. Did this weekly and I got Thaye, Deo (super lucky with these 2) and a Mare! At first I'm not sure it was intended for the ghost room to be always at the entrance cus every time i stepped in, stuffs always getting thrown in Kitchen, Dining and Foyer but then when I helped my friends, it's not 😂 so I guess I was pretty lucky with ghost rooms lol

  11. While I agree with your take on Twnteraction/EMF 5 off the board you are wrong on the Yurei special door ability. I've yet to see a ghost fully shut the door in the same way that the Yurei does it when it is doing it's special ability.

    My first success was much like your Hantu one. Although I got two of the evidence prior to going into the truck to look for EMF 5. Didn't get EMF 5 but did get Twinteraction. Since I had already nixed that as a possible ghost from the evidence collected that left the Mimic playing The Twins. Which it was.

  12. I find that the Jinn on this challenge can be figured out by using the Activity screen. Same with the Shade. If the Jinn hasn't been changed, then you will see a large decrease in Activity when you are not in the room. Shade you'll see a small spike in activity while you not in the room.
