  1. There are now tons of Ghost Hunting type games out there, but this one is, and probably always will be, the very best in the genre. To think that this devolper only asked for like, what, $13 for this gem?! Best money I've ever spent on any game, ever. Hands down. They just keep coming with new content, fixes, maps, you name it! This developer is the poster child for what developers should strive to become. Super excited for custom mode!

  2. At the end about the exorcisms would be cool, but maybe instead of making it a whole new game maybe make it so you can play a mission where you investigate the ghost, leave and then if you want you can come back to the same location to excorcise it. Would add tons of new items to play around with aswel as new mechanics while also keeping it as an option incase you only like the excorcisms or investigations! 😀

  3. It's a beautiful thing to see the amount of care and attention the dev team show Phas. They have been doing everything in their power to enhance the players' experience. Love it.

And as happy as I am to see so many new modes and features set to arrive in the game, I'm particularly excited to see a report player function. I don't mind smart alecs or trolls, but the crazy aggressive racists I've met in public lobbies is aggravating. It's like Russian roulette. It'll be nice to be able to hold a few of those players accountable.

  4. Really wanna see those small maps. Big maps are fun every now and then but basically nobody I know likes to play them regularly, the game clearly isn't designed around them (slow as shit, ghosts can hardly ever find you, etc). Custom difficulty should help big maps A LOT, but I still want to see more small maps.

  5. I would just absolutely eat up a another house that was abandoned and frozen in time. Like 20s victorian, or 50s spaceage. Imagine a grandfather clock that loudly chimes, creaky loud doors. Little things were not used to hearing with today's technology. A girl can dreammmm lol

  6. A console port would be cool, probably would take a while tho, I'm not no genius when It comes to game design and making. And then maybe cross platform. Update would be cool after console

  7. I agree some maps need kinda rework for a more immersive experience, like the school and prison, some of the small maps as well. They are all too "clean". It also would be great to have new maps like a graveyard, a lighthouse, an abandoned mannor, etc.

Also, it would be great if your dead teammates could have more interaction with the alive players. Like talking to the spirit box, closing/opening doors, pass through dots, etc.

  8. After months of "Stale" content, and delay after delay on the release of map and horror content my whole friend group who plays this game has given up on Phasmo. I think I may have been the last one of us that even cared about this game any more, and after the last two months of delays on updates I can say I've joined them.

While I enjoyed Phasmo, and really looked forward to seeing where it was going, I must say the last year has been pretty darn disappointing. I thought that with the addition of CJ and Lavender that updates would speed up a bit and we'd finally have more content being thrown our way, but no, they've seemed to actually slow down. I'm sure they have their reasons, but in the end, it doesn't really matter. In the time it's taken them to get these updates worked on and tested what I previously feared came to pass and virtually every person I know and played this game with on Steam has completely lost interest in this game. I asked a couple people this past weekend if anyone wanted to play a round or two, and out of the roughly 20 people I know on Steam that I used to play this game with, NONE of them were interested in playing.

It's a shame, this was one of my favorite VR games, now I find the thought of playing it disappointing as I almost spend more time setting up my VR than I spend playing the game before I get bored of it…

Steam workshop support could have saved this game (in my personal opinion), but the devs decided against it, and now they are stuck doing everything themselves (which is just taking them too long).

  9. I, for one, welcome map reworks, if it involves adding more of a random element to make the existing maps more dynamic and help keep the experiences fresh. Blocking random hiding spots was a nice start, but it would be nice if they could find ways to take it even further, so that we wouldn't just automatically know where to look for everything as soon as we enter the map. Cursed items could use more spawn locations. Maybe in addition to blocking random hiding spots, new ones could be created instead, with a wider selection of possible locations. Big maps like asylum/prison/school could have passages randomly blocked off or cluttered, forcing you to go different routes, messing with your ability to navigate by memory in the dark, or potentially causing a careless player to get cornered at a dead end. The biggest dream goal, of course, would be layout randomness — rooms that can be connected with the rest of the map in different ways, or have different sets of furniture/obstacles to mess with your sense of familiarity..

  10. I still think that Phasmaphobia needs a haunted mansion of sorts. Maybe make it a medium sized map that's smaller than Highschool, but bigger than all the small maps. That along with a few more small maps would be great

  11. Imagine if more games had this level of transparency from the developers and feedback from it's community, this game is absolutely a rare gem and I appreciate this level of passion and commitment from both the developers and players to make this game the best in can be within reason. This is Early Access DONE RIGHT.

  12. In Asylum they could've made it better simply by adding more wheelchairs and gurneys around that both got in your way while trying to run from a hunt, but also have ghost randomly take control of some of them and move them and/or if they happen to add health then could have them hurt you if ram you with a wheelchair or gurney, could have left behind medical equipment that malfunctions, they could also add ghost events where a bunch of the doors to rooms slam shut loudly with force to scare you, maybe put a reck room with a TV that goes off and on with weird videos or even just random news or cartoons or something that goes on and off, sometimes only static, could have games and balls in room too that roll on their own, that maybe a chess board flings across room, should definitely also add more lines of dialogue for ghost to say, yell, and/or whisper in your ears, more creepy words and phrases, little more like how Conrad Stevenson's PPI does it on all boards and of course with surround sound so you can actually feel it from your headphones almost like it happened in your room from the spacial awareness, a ghost yells behind you, another whispers in your left ear, a door slams somewhere upstairs to the right etc

  13. Horror 2.0 idea?
Ghost writing on say walls or mirrors thats maybe a seperate evidence possibly?
D.O.T.S. event? Aka when watching for dots the ghost does something creepy/scary such as staring into the camera, or at a wall blankly?
    SO EXCITED!

    Map ideas?
Small school like a preschool or daycare?
Small house with a small backyard area (say as big as like just a living room/kitchen type thing)
Tiny map could be just a back yard, say with a small shed and like a small treehouse?
Large map a mall (possibly with a 1 story elevator or escelator that turns on and off with power (being trapped in an elevator wouldnt be very fun to least lol

The more ideas we share the better feel they get for what eveyerone wants 🙂

  14. Having procedurally generated maps would be a blast because you could have infinite maps to play with that would be always different. Imagine customizing the map to your liking. But that's just an idea, I understand it would require a ton of work.

  15. I wish they would bring back the live beta testing so everyone can test the game out and help find bugs instead of just having a small amount doing the testing. some of us are more skilled at finding bugs without even trying to and some of us are good at finding ways to break games especially me
