Goryos were like the most reliable ghosts to identify and avoid getting killed by, but everything’s gone upside down these days. They’ve killed me 4 times, in spite of keeping raijous, demons, deogens, and others at bay, not to mention I’ve had so much trouble identifying them recently. Idk why

I have an idea for a ghost i dout that the phasmophobia devs will see this but im sharing it anyway.
-Ghost name: Fade
-Strength: it can go through anything and it decently fast
-Weakness: hunting chance are only 50% max

Goryos are definitely bugged, I feel. Since the devs removed the higher chance of new ghosts spawn patch, goryo has been way too roamy, all of my Goryos in last 2 weeks are too roamy but I knew it's them from Dots when they are alone. They are crazy.
32:35 @N3R4 Changing ghost rooms is the result of heavy roaming. When a ghost roams, it has a chance to change it's ghost room to the room it is in currently.
40:12 Remember the Asylum Mare that took you 2 hours to figure out because it was roaming so hard you couldn't get freezing?
The way you solved it was turning off the breaker and then trying to find freezing which at the time was <3.
They have absolutely not fixed the roaming. I have had many multiple types of ghosts the last few days on intermediate and pro all roam so much I almost gave up several times even on small maps and yes my game is updated.
Honestly, the roaming aspect should be a separate slider for custom difficulties, it makes the ghosts so much more challenging!

Banshees can’t be male ghost models
i had a yurei on nightmare and it only gave me dots. i was in there and was checking from the van for 40 mins and there were no orbs or freezing. it gave me 1 evidence on nightmare but it did do the yurei ability twice so i was extremely confused why i couldnt get the other evidence. The game seems to be extremely broke since the major update which sucks because i love the game.
edit: just played on tanglewood. all doors were closed, suddenly the boys bedroom door opened then less that 1 second later the garage door opened. i was like has to be twins! then it did it again , within 20 seconds every door in the house was open…..it was a mare!! i thought roaming was fixed???

Maybe it's not always the case (or at all) but I feel like every time the cursed posessions are involved, something in the game's code just breaks 😅

This also has happened to me before A while back I had a goryo that just kept wandering into different rooms and areas and It took forever to find and get it it was a long game

I've noticed just recently Goryo roams more than any other ghost, which is the opposite of its intended behavior. It's definitely bugged.
Rly…, 95 interactions? I heard or saw 30 of them and Goryo was really drunk in camp.

I KNEW it had to be Goryo, because it gave no behavior indicative of Banshee (multiple non-singing ghost events, including those two airballs, no scream on paramic, no sort of "stalking" behavior), and Goryos are already a mess, this is known. I was shocked the majority said Banshee. Goryos are just super broken. I remember you playing with CJ and Psycho and were like "well if you can't figure out a ghost, it's a goryo" effectively LOL

Almost got tricked by a Banshee today playing with my friends. Ghost did the whole Mare (turn lights off as soon as they are turned on) thing three times in a row and had us all mad confused. This game never ceases to amaze
I got a Revenant in Tanglewood with freezing temp in the living room and interactions with orbs in the basement
God I literally was playing this weekend and thought the stepping sound on maple sounded insanely fast as well, but my friends (who were dead) told me it was moving normally. The strange sound of the shuffling dirt and leaves sounds so fucked, IDK how they changed only that sound

The thing about Goryo though, I'm pretty sure they don't move ghost rooms less, they just interact outside the ghost room less. I don't know if devs have specifically made this difference clear but that is how I interpret the journal text.
Only reason I come on youtube now is to watch these 😂
