the sudden speedup is based on how many hitboxes are directly between you and it, its got nothing to do with pathing distance like CJ keeps saying when it has direct LOS with nothing in the way, the speed scales up with distance
I don't remember the revenant's evidence is, but to mess with the players, I hope the devs change the Deogen's evidence to match the revenant's except for 1 thing. It would sound fun, the phasmophobia world would burn from this though lmao.
Interesting concept that this is a ghost that you simply CANNOT hide from, but balanced perfectly with the fact that it moves slowly, making it easy to loop
we did some testing in a group and me and a friend hid while someone else stayed with the ghost. as long as the ghost has line of sight of someone everyone else can hide! also we got a super weird spirit box answer when using the spirit box on the deogen. I didn't get it with any other ghost and think it may be just for this ghost ! great video and useful information ! Thank you !! ♡

This ghost is hilarious but weak once you get your first or second piece of evidence, depending on your experience. It could really catch you off guard when every ghost is on your radar.
The deogen will be a b tier because newer player they will dominate them because if a new player hides well there dead but experience player if they know what they’re dealing with deogen should be c tier but it depends on the map because the map edge field it’s painful no loop in up stair down stair 1 loop sofa so in that map it’s a tier tangle wood or willow should be c tier because the basement is a dead end. ridge view should be same b tier because there is not mouth looping the upstairs is a dead end if they see you up stair your so dead unless smudge stick. Around farm house they are not much of a threat because those 2 farm house has a amazing looping spot so d tier against deogen. high school or asylum or prison you can do the same thing as farm house just run around the hall ways.
As a ghost type that has the ability it will depend on the map how deadly they are in each map if the map has lots of good loops you can do well against deogen if the map does not have much looping and lots of dead end this ghost is a huge threat if the map is larger with long hallways like prison asylum or school you can do well againist deogen. Because you can just run in big hallways.

If you are in a large enough room you can just spin the ghost in place by circling it. So certain rooms are completely safe if you have enough space.
