The New Hantu is So Much Fun – Phasmophobia

Welcome back to Phasmophobia! In this video we find the New Hantu! They made it so that the Hantu does not speed up during hunts anymore. Its speed is purely based on the room temperature. This means that if you have the breaker on you can loop it FOREVER! It’s so much fun to do. Really brings me back to the old days of Phasmo where looping was absolutely OP. I hope you enjoy!

  1. hantu should have an ability to decrease the temperature of its environment while hunting (and this also checks for speedier hantu) to make it more chalenging, so people should keep the breaker on all the time

  2. it doesn’t make sense why hantu’s touch doors 10x more than any other ghost, I feel like that should’ve been given to the Yurei or smth with their hidden ability

  3. I think it'd be neat if, during a hunt, the Hantu would either gradually lower the temperature of the entire map or drastically lower the temperature of the room it's in while lowering the temperatures of adjacent rooms and then, after the hunt, the temps would return to normal. This way it's far more dangerous without having an easy dead-giveaway while also introducing a new test you can do where you have to monitor the temperature while surviving a hunt!

  4. I had 3 games where the Myling REFUSED to give me the third piece of evidence so I had to guess everytime and then I had a Shade mimic a Banshee where it only attacked when I entered the building THESE GHOST ARE BROKEN

  5. 24:11 Only if you're specifically looking for it, and only if you have the breaker off. So I actually think your idea is really strong here.

I mean how many people are going to turn off the breaker and then check a bunch of rooms in a map to try and determine if they seem colder than they'd normally be in every single game they play? And especially with the variable weather patterns now, that'd be really hard to just tell off the cuff. You'd have to do all sorts of testing to record what the normal temperatures are in each kind of weather with the breaker off, and then either memorize it or reference it in each game. So I really don't think it'd be all that obvious.

People are only going to do tests like that on nightmare mode when they've narrowed it down and hantu is an option. And if you're at that point, well then there's a bunch of ghosts that already have characteristics associated with them that give them away. I mean its not game breaking that a wraith never leave footprints, right? Or that a phantom disappears when its photo is taken, right? The existence of those identifiable characteristics hasn't made phasmo an unplayable, easy, boring game. So I don't see why this would.

So I actually think your idea is really good here. Plus, there's a bit of a cost to you doing this kind of check, especially on larger maps. As it means you have to be in the dark all that time, draining your sanity and bringing you closer to hunting range. And of course once the hantu hunts, since you have the breaker off trying to see if it is a hantu, it'll be faster. So I actually think they could even go to extremes with this and allow the hantu to bring maps down to almost freezing over time, as then turning the breaker off would make a hantu hunt much harder. So there'd definitely be a cost of increased risk in order to obtain the clue-in that its a hantu.

  6. That's happened to me before where the ghost got stuck there. I didn't know it bc i was too affraid to step out, but i was calling it from the garage while it spawned in the foyer. So i think it might be bugged around that area

  7. I think that in the future the ghosts could interact with windows, it would pair really good with the hantu trying to lower temps in addition to the breaker. Imagine the hantu slightly opening a window to lower temps in other areas. That with the weather system can help, just escaping from it and seeing it suddenly gaining a speed burst. Sounds really cool and scary.

  8. so im not sure if you know this, but there's a couch on ridgeview that im sure you can still loop every ghost on. due to how close the edge of the couch is to the wall, the ghost's pathing will get fucked up for a second and get stuck momentarily before getting past it. i havent played since 2020, but unless they changed that map, im fairly positive every ghost can be looped there – even revs.
