  1. I'd love some more ghost sounds. A good one would be a woman crying or a man groaning (painfully). Maybe add a baby ghost model since we have mylings now, and add a crying baby ghost. But what I really want is intelligent AI. If I run into a room and it sees me go in there for multiple hunts, it should check the lockers/closets. It is a hunt after all. I want it to look for me, not just randomly path into rooms. Maybe even add in keys and allow us to lock certain doors, but the ghost has a chance to unlock the door. Imagine being in a room and hearing it fiddling the locks trying to open the door, I'd shit myself lol.

  2. yeeeeh even right after this new update comes out the fursttt thing i test is the glow stick xD ive been using it even before this new rework , now it is sooooooo brightttt and can see where to go during hunt xD thankiesss Insym !

  3. Demons should have a new and special hunt only for them at zero sanity after a number of failed hunts. A super hunt where the entire houses electronics go haywire, lights on and off, all the electronic equipment going nuts, objects everywhere flying in all directions and the ability to teleport to an adjacent room during a hunt and extra speed. The emf reader should give emf5 for the whole hunt. After failing a super hunt the ghost should go back to normal as it expended it's energy.

  4. Hunts need to be even more dangerous. It's still way too easy to hide. And many times the ghost doesn't even seem to care that my electrical equipment is on. Ghost needs to be more aggressive in locating players.

  5. My friend and I got hunted yesterday, we had santiy at just over 50%, thought we were good. It strayed to hunt, she silently ran away, I immediately went "oh f#ck" and then ran. Got away into a room but forgot to turn my flashlight off 😂 stuck my head in the wall and waited for death

  6. Is there any explanation of WHERE the ghost starts a hunt? There have been games where the ghost room is identified and all evidence is found, however, a hunt starts, I go to run away from said ghost room, and run INTO the ghost on the other side of the map. I'm assuming it could be random, or a certain ghost type? Just wondering if anyone has an explanation on that.

  7. It is possible to have an open straight book. Open it against the wall or some objects.
    About the new hunt system, I was able to warn my teammates with a quick radio check, even from the van. No issues so far. I like the update 🙂

  8. I tested a little on this but I think if you have any items like an EMF reader or flashlight on while it is on the ground where you are hiding the ghost can't seem to sense it. I could be wrong about it so correct me if I am wrong.

  9. You could do a lot of trickery with this new hunting system.
    Imagine this system where you can't tell if the ghost hunts unless it is close to you with a ghost type that "clones" itself when hunting, the "clone" spawns somewhere else, doesn't glitch your stuff so you probably think it's a ghost event, but the twist is that the clone can not kill you, only damages your sanity severely when it touches you. (like 40-50 percent)

  10. Wait so if you have push to talk you don’t have to worry about ghosts hearing you unless you’re talking right?
    Also would big maps be easier since there is more space to run

  11. this dude can be yelling at the ghost 5 feet away and then walk 5 feet and go hide and don't die but im on the other side of the map, mic off, no equipment and in a locker (while holding it) and it kills me

  12. I haven't played this update yet. I do think what would be cool is not quite such a hard radius around the ghost for equipment cues. I would think a tiny, subtle anomaly further out and more gradually intense would be more suspenseful. And certain little things could happen from time to time during ghost events so you don't know if that tiny flicker of your light is a hunt or not. Some of those things already occur, but perhaps it could be drawn out and emphasized a bit more.

    Of course, if things are happening all the time, then you have no contrast. If that is the case, it's no longer scary. It needs to be quiet and uneventful to make the events scary.

    Also, equipment anomalies in the truck would be fun.

  13. the new hunts are amazing so me and a friend were running into the garage and I got into the locker saely but I died without the ghost opening the locker door.

    I wonder was this a timed delay and he caught me before the door closed or is there something now with the ghost physically seeing you go into the lockers?

    Do video cams have battery now? My video cams always seem to stop working after a short while; I don’t know if it’s because there’s battery life, if hunts breaks them, or if it’s just glitched. But whether I’m holding the cam or it’s placed it still dies eventually quite often

  15. I was so comfortable doing solo runs and stuff before. Now I am back to be terrified to even enter the house, which is a good thing! The hunts are Scary and the noises are even scarier! XD

  16. I'm so glad you said that about the mic and fans because as Summer's come round I had my first death in about 100 hours of the game because the ghost heard my fan and hunted me down into a bathroom stall it never would have known i was in. Turned the fan off, 0 problems.

  17. Large maps went from being extremely easy to extremely tense and challenging. Everything in this update was just wonderful. The long hallways on asylum and the cell blocks in prison are terrifying now.

Also the sprinting you mention outrunning a rev, it feels like you can sprint for like 3 seconds before you're running out of stamina, which is frustrating, but I do like that you can go much faster etc, they said the walk is faster but I don't feel it any different, and still squat walk to go faster than walk walk lmao, don't mind me, I'm just here studying the playthru for my next run in a little while haha

  19. The thing I absolutely love most about this update, is that it makes the game feel completely new and very terrifying again, as if it was the first time playing. Something I rarely see in games, is when the game starts to get boring – then getting an update making it feel brand new. They devs absolutely hit the nail on the coffin with this update, nothing but respect!
