Spirit box numbers is not for detecting spirit location. The numbers are the frequency the spirit use to communicate. Only the emf detect spirit. LoL 🤣😂
From what I watched, the flickering of the lights means she is hunting you. And the EMF in the van is a great tell tale sign of paranormal activity, the higher it is, the worse it'll be. It may be better for 2 people to stay in the van to watch, one for cams and the other for the emf area, and keep an eye on sanity, if someone gets low, I'd advise someone in the van to swap with them.

When talking to the spirit using the box, most of the time your team's sanity is too low and it ramps up the activity even more.
It only works well in lower difficulty modes where the spirit will not get aggressive and not start hunting until the timer hits zero.
