  1. Me rn:
    > watches video
    > gets motivated to do the challenge
    > gets the name Jack Todd
    > wants to uninstall

Edit: Ok now I just hate this
I go into the house pretending it's a normal nightmare mode mission, it does an instant multithrow… now I feel like an idiot for cancelling the mission

  2. W is a vowel in English, when it modifies a vowel sound. Like the name Brown. You don't say Brone or Broon, it becomes "ow".
And as my name is Brandy, I have to say Y is a vowel!
We used to say "A,E,I,O,U, and sometimes Y or W"!

  3. So to those who don't know words without a vowel but have Y in them like insym mentioned "sky" in those words Y is a vowel. I m interested in what are the vowels in different languages, in chinese apart from the " a e i o u" V is a vowel, not that v is in chinese but we used it to represent our second U vowel which looks like a smiley face just think of 2 dots on top of the U, so a horizontal colon on top of the U

  4. H is not a vowel but will sometimes be sounded like one such as in the word hour were it acts more like an a and for anybody who needs clarifying Y is only a vowel if there is no regular vowels in the word such as gym or at the and of a syllable or word

  5. There's a difference between vowels and vowels letters. A, E, I, O, and U are vowel letters, cause they normally used to represent vowels.

Vowels and consonants are NOT letters they are phonomes. That means that Mary has two vowels (represented by the A and Y) and one vowel letter (A) but Rose is two vowel letters but only one vowel, because the E at the end doesn't create its own vowel, it only changes the pronunciation of the O.

You are not counting Vowel or Vowel letters, you counting all letters in a word that are used to create vowel sounds (so you can get the most items out of a name).

But this makes it really hard to count all letters correct, cause vowel letters are also used to represent consonants and consonant letters also used to represent vowels.

For example the word "tongue" is 3 vowel lettes and 3 consonant letters, but only 1 vowel and 2 consonants with the second consonant is a ŋ represented with "ngue".

The word "should" (same for could or would) has one vowel that is represented through oul. In this case L doesn't represent a consonant but a vowel.

To answer your question if W can also be a vowel (represent a vowel), yes it can: Owl for example is pronunced [aʊl] and ʊ is a vowel.

To be correct aʊ is a diphthong. The ʊ is used to change the pronunciation of the a, aʊ is only one spoken vowel.

In English C, G, H, L, R, S, T, W, and Y are all used sometimes (y pretty often) to represent vowel sounds even they are consonant letters and E, I, and U sometimes used to represent consonants.

Mayby this link https://www.teachphonics.co.uk/phonics-phoneme-chart.html will help to figure out if something is a vowel or not.

And by the way, Dutch is just fucked up German! :*

  8. Y is not a vowel anymore. In ye olde days it was used as a vowel hence why words such as sky still verifies the logic that every English word contains at least 1 vowel. Officially the 5 vowels are a e i o and u.

  9. how do you know where the ghost will spawn when it hunts? I'm not really sure, every time a ghost hunt spawns I freak out and get disoriented because I have no clue where it's going to spawn from, scrambling my brain from knowing where to go haha
