I loved the thermometer for a quick way to find the ghost's room… UNTIL I CHANGED TO THE BETA… Now I use EMF reader… Btw… Thanks for the info!
Does the ghost room still get low enough you can tell and you don’t have to turn off the breaker

I dont really use the thermometer, I usually stick to the EMF or go old school eyes and ears.
Even though you can still look for freezing temps, and if you find a room the drops below 3.5 celsius keep the room in mind. You can also go in with a spirit box to find the room.
The concept is good, but it's poorly implemented. It's become a useless tool. As you said in your video, which I 100% agree, by the time the thermometer becomes useful, you've already found the room by other means, including seeing a light on or open door, or from a step sound.

Interesting changes… I never really used it much anyway, but now it's useless as is… until they change it again, and again.
Bit late, but I do understand the nerf. Way to easy to find the ghost room. That being said, some of the changes were questionable. (O praise de, 5 seconds to update, how little I saw ye) I believe the dev made the change to have it used to find clues, not to find the ghost room. Although at this point the Thermometer kind of falls into the EMF reader issue. You don't need it to get freezing temps. And that is where my issue lies with it. If you do not need a tool to get a clue, why bother with it? Either you need to remove freezing breath to make it useful again, or only show freezing temps when it hunts. I personally believe showing while it hunts would be a good work around. As you have to put yourself in danger to get it if you don't wish to use the thermometer and gives it more of a purpose. This will also make sure you can't just insta spot a phantom when using the board. Another idea, the lower your sanity the more you see your breath. 50% you start seeing it in rooms below 10 degrees. 0% you always see it unless outside. This would also make the thermometer much more useful again and still be in line with that the dev wishes for it.
