8:53 That song she hums is the "long" version of it, the one that i have only heard when a hunt is going on, it´s kind of "echo-y", it´s not the short and brief hum of a ghost event.
It´s a little difficult to describe, and i can understand most ppl would probably think wait what, doesnt it all sound the same ? I´ve really only heard the longer version when the hunt is on.
As soon she started with the long humming in the vid i thought "Wait, she is hunting, where is the flickering ??!" and then she killed you

I agree, that should be a special ability ! How scary would that be !
Happened to me in bleadsdale ghost was walking up the stairs flashlight wasnt flickering nor the lights i went up to the ghost to get a pic and it killed me. Worst part didnt get the pic counted as an interaction it was a phantom btw
Insym It's one of the ghost events where you really get killed. It's not a bug or a glitch
It happened to me at that exact same location- basement ghost too!! Thought it was a ghost event and then when I realized I basically threw myself in a locker haha
A demon should have this as an ability!
Was that an Insym Plush figure in the background in the beginning?!
I heard multiple Ghost events happening during the glitch, and before it killed Insym it also touched the door, I don't know if this is just what It always does in a hunt, but still!
I Have had the same thing happened with me No Loud Heart Beat and I have film a video of it happening.
It'd be too easy to identify the ghost if it had that ability

I think that should be in Nightmare Difficulty or as a new ghost like a Shadow Ghost but, only your flash doesn't flicker as otherwise it is a bit unfair. Also what about a ghost that disables your flashlight or at least make very dim when it goes into a hunt.
This just happened to a friend in a game on the exact same spot as you were, on the stairs staring at the basement door, we got a hunt and he died without his flashlight even blinks.
A ghost with this ability would be terrifing.
I've just noticed that on your animated intro screen a fingerprints on the window are visible with no UV light
Been there done that… ghost is killing people through walls and around corners…. without giving lightflickering signs
Me and a buddy that were playing had this same issue! I heard the ghost singing but the lights weren’t going crazy near the ghost. So instead of running I ran for the camera and was so confused when I died. The ghost wasn’t even flashing. And it actually happened in the exact same house and ghost room. Ridgeview in the basement.
Hopefully, they will add the Cheuksin ghost soon.
I had the same thing happen to me in the same map, ghost room, and ghost model a few weeks ago. It was a wraith, though.
I thought that the closer the ghost is the more your flashlight flickers i speak from experience.

That should totally be an ability, i would not mind if all ghosts had that on a random chance, so this would not make the ghost too obvious to identify, as DK has mentioned with the banshee earlier in the video of playing together. Possible addition to nightmare diff?
I had a banshee that didn't effect any electronics and it was invisible. All I heard was the ghost noises and footsteps. I was so confused and mad lol
i had the same exact bug when i started playing a month ago. It was very anoying
Yes it was a ghost event at the beginning we heard the loud breath in the speakers + right after the hunt but it looks like there was a overlapping of the 2 abilities maybe since the ghost event started maybe before the lights could not be flickered by the hunt crazy glitch indeed ( it could be an ability where a ghost event could be a hunt without flickering would be insane (Insym idea))
I have died SOOOO many times the last few days like this! It seems like a ghost event so I think I'm safe, then I'm dead. I hope this gets fixed soon!

I got murdered with the same bug two days ago , same thing the ghost walking dots flashlight everything normal functioning and boom.. death haha thats spoiler of the new Ghost!!

Yea it's the basement ghost bug it happens all the time for me on that map and most maps that have a basement so I just re spawn the map to get a new ghost room because the bug has been in the game since release to early access.
This is the first YouTuber that does not just ask for likes, he gives the viewers their own choice 😂
This for sure should be an ability. Maybe it is a bug from the New ghosts testing?
wait… i feel like this happened to us too, because nothing really was showing a hunt when the ghost appeared and we were in the high school, i hid for no reason and heard it kill someone and i asked in our radio and it was a confirmed hunt even tho nothing was flickering or showing anything once it was near us.
that leaves me to think that even with ghost events… we cant trust them now XD
I had that happen several months ago. My flashlight wasn't flashing and I walked right into the ghost while my friends yelled that it was hunting. 😂
If that was a ghost feature, it would be really fun to play!
What if this is a bug that actually IS what one of the new ghosts ability will be, and you just so happened to get it 🤔
