Welcome back to Phasmophobia! In this video we do the impossible! We get a full PERFECT game in the new update! They made this much harder because they made dirty water an important photo now, which means that in order to get a perfect game you now need to get a bunch of dirty water photos. Really want to love the update and try these tips but being i stream gameplay in vr and my miss plays in screen..vr is just broken..framerate dips hilariously to 1 frame on the quest 2..more glitches but can't be bothered to list cus devs are more focused on the screen mode and not vr mode..guess gotta wait 6months for a fix or simply abandon the game..my opinion vr is the best way to play these types of games..

  2. There is a back room in the kitchen of Sunny Meadows that has enough sinks for it to work… But that room is dangerous to get hunted from, at least in my opinion. Not a lot of good hiding spots nearby.

  3. I don't know if this has been mentioned already or not, but it's likely possible to get this on Sunny Meadows if the ghost is in the kitchen. There are a lot of sinks in that area.

Yup getting some good cash for photos would be pretty nice for sure and maybe add some $ to crucifix ones since those and ghost photos are actually dangerous to get(maybe fully used crucifix costs more? or like both stages get some extra $?) . Multiplier would also be nice, but not more than 3x-4x and make it multiply only if you get a ghost correctly so it can't be abused?(idk about that, but I think it would be reasonable and would keep it balanced enough)

    Your videos are truly amazing. I’ve got PTSD and wake up in a pure panic if it’s dark and quiet in my room. Having your videos play brings a sense of comfort and safety…even with shouts of terror or horrible sounds of the ghosts.

  6. I mostly agree with the ghost being guessed wrong equals less money but then again what if you get something like a revenant or a phantom which literally give themselves away super easily. I feel like photo rewards should scale as a percentage of custom difficulty settings. For example: custom difficulty 10x multiplier = photos 3x multiplier. I feel like that would be well balanced and would make photos not feel so useless.

  8. New photo system is definitely a downgrade, even on average. Plus it's much harder too. Before was ghost, bone, cursed item, interaction/footsteps OR fingerprints, which wasn't that bad. Removing cursed item and fingerprints, but adding dirty water and burned crucifixes (1/2 of which can be missed if not quick to capture) has made it significantly HARDER too. Even if you play perfectly, like here, you make less than you would on professional.

    My ideas?
    Option 1) Photo rewards scale with map size. x2 for medium (180 without dirty water) and x3 (270 without dirty water) for large. No need to worry about custom difficulty shenanigans boosting money.
    Option 2) Photo rewards scale with completed objectives (not figuring out the ghost type). Doing one objective doubles your highest value photo once (after multipliers are applied). Doing two objectives doubles total photo reward. Doing three objectives triples photo reward. Getting the ghost type wrong removes all photo multipliers.

  9. My idea is to add a photo multiplier equal to 1.08 to the power of the regular multiplier. In the case of this game, the photo reward would be multiplied by 1.64, making it $180. Maybe tweak the number a bit.

  10. I think the point is the devs don't want players stressing over photos like this, so they're taking away the incentive on purpose. Maybe expanding the photo system to be less grindy is more in line with their plan, but to suggest rewarding gameplay like this probably goes against what the devs are doing.

  11. I'd rather see objectives or photos be a part of investigating the ghost type if there were to be such a penalty to getting the ghost type wrong. I'd at least want to see a much more significant multiplier for taking away evidence in the custom difficulty, since discovering the ghost type with all three evidence is often extremely fast and easy.

  12. about what you say at 24:40, I find that reasoning weird since you need 4 dirty waters to get a perfect game now? ofc it's bad if you can't get a perfect game from getting the wrong ghost type, but I think making it almost impossible on most maps is a very strange solution to that

  13. Oh awesome, a High School video! It's probably my favorite map, mostly just because nobody ever plays it lol. I just love the atmosphere of the darkness in a wide open space like the gym.
