You used to be able to turn on all the lights without popping the breaker, to really make yourself feel at home in Phasmophobia. Sadly they fixed this in one of the recent patches (as I will show in a video coming soon). I want this channel to contain the entire history of Phasmophobia, so I decided to upload this somewhat older video to show this now impossible trick! Hope you enjoy! Seriously how do you get a response on the board every time??? I know my mic is working, the ghost responds on the spirit box and when I ask it to do something, but the board almost NEVER gives a response, failed or otherwise. I've sat there asking where it is/how old it is etc. for several minutes until my sanity was 0 and still got absolutely nothing. 🙁
I like the idea of the ghost's speed not being static in a chase, where it slowly gains speed over the hunt or gains speed while in line of sight
Also a 'simple'(?) idea for difficulty: two ghosts 🙂

Insym, you need to get a group of four including yourself and do a 3 cultists and one ghost hunter. The cultists only get candles and a lighter to light the candles. The ghost hunter has to get all evidence of the ghost, if the ghost hunter does this then the cultists have to go to the truck to leave. While the ghost hunter is trying to figure out the ghost type, the cultists can only touch other items if the ghost hunter has placed them in the map except the video camera but the cultists are allowed to obstruct the camera’s view.
I hope you give that challenge game mode a shot!
Big brain move. Your sanity is never going to drain. Not because the lights are all on, but because your sanity cannot drain when it is already at zero.

Ghost closes and locks some doors in the house so you need to find keys to be able to unlock the doors. (Garage key, basement key, etc)
Not a full level but extra tags/challenges that could be set:
Running drains sanity.
Ghost steals keys and drops them somewhere…so you can't unlock doors after a hunt until you find the key out….etc
Secondary ghosts (larger maps only) – try to identify the real problem ghost from a non-violent one.

Hello Mr. Insym. I have an Idea how to buff Freezing Ghosts and nerf looping at the same time. Make Wraiths how they are supposed to be. Let them walk through walls, objects and let them get line of sight more often even through walls. I feel like Freezing Ghosts are not a threat at all (except demons MAYBE) but with the Wraiths Buffs/Reworks players will stop feeling save if they see freezing and it will also feel more appropriate to their description in the Ghost Journal.

what if, when the ghost appears not in the shadow state, it could still kill you if you touch it for more than 2 seconds or something like that.
I think, for a higher difficulty, they should make it so that the objectives are required to be finished for you to leave…
They should add a difficulty that has a percent chance to spawn a new ghost The Devil himself.
Alexa should have a command that turns the light on by saying "How old are you"
I think higher difficulty should see massive increases in search behaviour, where you need to keep moving to prevent dying. Currently it's either just running away (unless it's a rev) or hiding in some locker or closet and holding the door shut

I had an idea for a tougher difficulty than Professional. Maybe the ghost gets faster the longer it's in a hunt? So looping becomes less viable the longer it's hunting you. You can still get a few good loops in, but if it's a long hunt, you will have to eventually hide or break line of sight, or something.

Harder difficulty 'nightmare': This can also be the difficulty where new features can be tested.
Options for faster ghosts to make looping and outrunning harder:
1. The ghost gets the same speed as the player. This will make you have to loop and outrun perfectly if you want to live.
2. The ghost gets faster as the hunt goes on, and it starts slower (except a rev, rev mechanics can stay the same). This will force you to find a hiding spot as soon as possible.
3. The ghost gets faster the longer it has line of sight, otherwise, it's slower (except a rev, rev mechanics can stay the same). This will make it harder to outrun for a long time.
4. The ghost gets faster the more it hunts and kills. Every hunt adds a certain percentage to its speed and every kill adds a different (higher?) percentage to its speed.
Options for making finding the ghost less easy, especially at the start:
1. Ghost activity starts lower than normal, gets higher the lower your sanity is/the longer you're in the map/the more it hunts and kills.
2. The ghost just is less active.
Options for making finding the type less easy, especially at the start:
1. The ghost has a lower chance to make evidence happen.
2. Some pieces of evidence can only be found after a hunt/ghost event.
Other:
1. More ambient sounds making it spookier.
2. More (types of) jumpscares making it spookier.
3. More realism (again) making it spookier.
4. More/different/more realistic kill/movement/hunt animations MAKING IT SPOOKIER.
5. Aka just make the game spookier ^-^
6. New (one use) item that detects whenever a ghost is going to hunt, has a 75% chance of being correct.
7. New (one use) item that makes you faster for a short amount of time, making it possible to outrun any ghost and find a hiding spot quickly. It does make you slower for a short time when it runs out.
8. New item that makes the ghost angry, if you're trying to trigger a hunt.
9. Make the game harder if you're with more people.
10. (Possibly) more ghost types that are of similar danger to the revenant.
11. New item (like camera or head-mounted) to see the ghost's heat/cold signature when it's not visible.
I could probably keep going for a while but this is enough for now.
Any of these ideas could also fit in lower difficulties, possibly.

Insym was asked what the EMS 0.94 means on the thermometer. I got this from a comment on the wiki so not 100% confirmed but most likely answer.
"It means emissivity, basically how good (ratio of 0-1) a material is at emitting infrared radiation."
"In the game it's probably just a little detail to add realism, since 0.94/0.95 are extremely common default "general purpose" values for reading temps."
So in other words it is actually a setting the Thermo is displaying at all times.
I'd like to have this back, especially with the sanity hit each time you do it. The problem is you could have a pack of truck junkies and one dude only taking a sanity hit. Maybe make the board take more sanity on a fail, and distribute some to all players? I don't know what I feel about a collective sanity drain like that on game balance. Same with EMF Trick. Personally, I'd like the EMF reader gadget itself communicate with the truck and "calibrate it" in the sense that it gets more precise for each reading the physical EMF device picks up. The worry though is losing variability too fast… Maybe fuck the activity board up more at start and make the calibration a slow process?

Nightmare difficulty:
-your sanity drops 1.5 times faster on all occasions
-every ghosts hunts above 60% sanity
-every ghost moves 10% faster than the player so it can catch up with you unless you break the line of sight
-the ghost has 30% chance to destroy the breaker when interacting with it
-the hunt duration can increase up to 120 seconds depending on your sanity
You can make the board fail every time by asking a question the game understands but doesnt have a board answer for. E.g. 'what do you want' always fails for me
For the harder difficulty, I would like to see something on the line of only being able to find the room by using 1 certain(random) equipment, so you have to try every equipment throughout the map, or something because half the equipment is never used
