  1. I wish both of these Ghosts had Prints and NO Spirit Box. We need that counterbalance so every evidence can point to half of the entire Ghost roster. I feel like Yokai would be EMF/Prints/Orbs and Hantu would have Prints/Writing/Temps. But that's just me.

  2. I am super excited for this! In my head, I was thinking for some reason these two new ghost types automatically would come with a new ghost model or 2, but I'm sure that's probably not the case. I'd LOVE to see less human-like looking ghost models at some point! The ghost models are pretty creepy as is don't get me wrong, but just to add to the jump scare when it is occasionally more deformed or unfamiliar looking would be cool. Love your videos and stream Dusk 😀

  3. Weird that a ghost that likes cold temperatures doesn't have Freezing Temps as evidence! Edit to add: I should clarify, that I know it says it likes warm weather, but it will attack more in the cold. So freezing would be interesting evidence.

  4. The Hantu is kinda hilarious to me as a Malaysian, because Hantu literally just means "ghost" in Malay and Indonesian. If they're gonna make spirit box the evidence for Yokai, why not follow that logic and make freezing temps the evidence for Hantu?

  5. I want a ghost to be able to place Portal style gates to warp you around the map. Walk thru a doorway leading to kitchen and wind up in the basement. Also, keep these ghosts from crawling on walls and ceilings!

  6. This is great news! Glad that the game is still being developed, it's one of the best truly new genres out there, and while some have tried a variation on the theme, Phasmo is still unique.

  7. wonder if a couple new items will be added, like a 2 way radio, and something like a space heater – the radio so you can talk to the ghost or distract them from range – a space heater to warm a room or an area

  8. Tbh, hantu is literally just Indonesian for "Ghost". I'm not even joking, it's literally just a translation. If they want to add a ghost from Indonesia, they could've taken the chance to add what we call "Pocong". It's a ghost, trapped in its funeral shroud. Or, they could've added the "Kuntilanak". Which is the spirit of a dead pregnant woman who couldn't give birth and has claws. Fairly similar to the already present Banshee.

  9. When it comes to hot climate, I kind of thought of an expansion on the weather system in Phasmophobia. Like instead of just rain or calm, you could have it snowing or a summer night where it's hot outside. Meaning like you may want to keep on the breaker for better temperature readings, or at least not have a false positive when you see your breath. I understand that adding more into the game comes with it's fair share of bugs and such, but the more random variables you start to add brings more into the game than just to find the ghost's signs and leave. To be honest I want a little more in terms of evidence, or some ghosts that enjoy a good pop up scare. I know a few times I've opened a door, like a bathroom, and saw the ghost standing in there for a very good spike to my heart rate.

  10. Y’know. An interesting concept is to play with the existing systems to add a bit of randomness.

Add in some RNG to produce deliberate “false positives” such as something dropping temps to freezing during a hunt, or a demon not necessarily starting off freezing.

Also. More ghosts need evidence like the Yokai. Having tools actively anger it to give you a reason to use caution. Or. A ghost that has a higher chance to attack the highest sanity person in the group to deter pill chugging.
