Welcome back to Phasmophobia! In this video we find the new Voodoo Doll that has gotten a pretty large buff. Now I still think the voodoo doll is probably the worst cursed possession in the game but it does have a pretty nice use in forcing evidence.   1. I think it would be cool if the voodoo doll had a pin in the head.
    When pushed, and if you are in the ghost room, the doll will leave your hands and walk to where the ghost is at that time.

  2. I just got a fairly nice idea, Make it so the VooDoo doll leg pin debuffs the ghost temporarily.
    If it hits the leg (the pin), The ghost gets slowed down 5%. Eh? Eh??

  3. Maybe the Voodoo would be an great cursed item if you can somehow select which pin you would like to use, but it might happen that you use the wrong pin (Heartpin) instead of the selected Pin. Also i would give the Pins different interaction. For example, if a pin is in the leg the ghost will do footsteps or wander around his room. Pin pushed in the arm he will do an interaction. Pin in the Body or Head he will do a ghost event and the Heart Pin will still trigger the cursed hunt.

    This way the voodoo doll would be more realistic to a real use of a voodoo doll, but it might be to overpowerd. Maybe chancing the Sanity Drain aswell, for example the foot pin only takes 0-5% while an ghost event takes 10-15%.

  4. Technically it would just be easy if the doll is based on player target, that's more or less if/else.

    However, it's kinda OP that way. I don't think they wanted to give the players full control of the events unfolding; hence the randomness factor of the doll

  5. I'm happier getting the voodoo doll more than the music box. music box is just boring. it can only be used once, and after using it youre stuck with cursed hunts. I never find any time where its actually helpful to get it. I can typically find the ghost without it. I think the singing ghost is cool, but i just wish it was more useful. Make it more like the mirror where you can pick it up and play it a bit to figure out where the ghost is at that time. Or something like that.

  6. We have had Voodoo a few times, and each time it pretty much doesn’t do anything. As in the ghost literally does not touch anything on any of the pins, even though we know where the ghost is and it’s surrounded by interactables. It’s horrible and still bugged af

  7. @Insym, I think one other way they could buff it is by making head pin force an event for a ghost photo, with stacking sanity drain for pin and event. Gives you a way to get ghost photo similar to almost every other possession, at a decent cost. Maybe also adding light switch interactions to the list on the same line as doors for interaction/fingerprint evidence.

  8. there are so many things i'd love to see ingame like that if u push a pin in the voodoo doll head that it would make a ghost event
    also i have ideas for maps like a Pizzeria (kinda fnaf) style or a family house so with flats and all that…
    btw i like u're videos i learned so much from u and i love that u upload every day 😀

  9. I've never played PhasmoPhobia, but if i was to try and suggest an edit to the Doll?

    As an Overall feature, it would be Cool to see it Ping the Bone Location for each pin pulled.
    Once all are pulled however, the Bone will Change it's Location.

    Not only giving awesome utility, but having a Drawback, and a Punishment.

  10. i agree that the voodoo doll should be able to have a random chance to force a ghost event. i would love to see the voodoo doll as a tool to find the ghost room as well by throwing it – like when it used to go all over the place before the patched it out – only now it would lead you to the ghost room.

  11. I know it’s a sequence for the percentages of things happening with the interaction forcing. But to make it a bit easier to understand for some, there’s essentially a
    50% chance for door interactions
    30% chance for evidence
    20% chance for throwing an object (no lights currently thanks to a bug)

I''ve noticed that when there is no interaction 7 times with the voodoo doll, it's always with a no writing/DOTS ghost, so I have a theory for why it feels like it does nothing sometimes: I think the game can go positive on the "writing " checkmark but because it isn't a writing ghost nothing happens, if that makes sense.
