Weekly Challenge ghost is eager to hunt | Phasmophobia #shorts

This is one our five hunts from this week’s challenge. No, we didn’t struggle with the challenge. Someone came in when we were just finishing game 2 and so we finished up the challenge with him. But you may know that equipment for this week was not that great. A lot of cruddy tier 1 gear (I’m looking at you DOTS) but full evidence was available! We’d narrowed the ghost type down by only one evidence. But what really told us what the ghost was is the burning crucifix. That first hunt happened when we were all huddled in the ghost’s room chatting about why the ghost was so inactive. Good thing we brought a crucifix because we were at about 70% sanity on that hunt as well. Running back to the van to check our sanity, we discussed possible early hunting ghosts. That is when this teammate went back inside to see if he could make it happen again by talking near the ghost and sure enough… it did. If you guessed this ghost is a yokai, then you are right! They can hunt as early as 80% sanity if players talk near them. It is also not uncommon for them to be less active until players are near by because they can’t detect you when you are not nearby. Luckily, no one had to die to figure this one out!
