I stream on Twitch!

I’ve recently been recording some of my statistics when playing Phasmophobia. These games have all been played on stream.
All games were played solo, as normally as possible, while trying to complete every objective, in order to keep things standardised. In this video I’ll be going over what I’ve discovered from these 100 games.
I’m hoping to carry this on in the future and do a review every 100 games, so it will be interesting to see if any of these trends change or stay similar at the next milestone.

yurei with me is appearing like 4 times in 5 minutes but does nothing else…
one gave me freezings outside the house, measuring 30 m away from wall lol
In all honesty, oni is my most common ghost type. High school is now my favorite map because of this. I've actually started going into a mission with items from the get go that show oni. Spirits are really interesting though. I've found if its not an oni but its acting like either oni or poltergeist its likely a spirit. I've had an oni travel literally across the entire school to throw a ball down the stairs. Like it was in the back locker room on the left, I thought it was on the right as I had heard it throw something on the right. Passed the stairs only to hear the ball bounce and when I checked it was still rolling. Same thing happened with the front locker room on the left with the same stairwell. I only found the room after like 5 minutes of searching because it had opened the door and turned on the lights. High school just loves me I guess. Second favorite map is Tanglewood. Anytime i go there, the ghost is just so active and rediculous. From an oni that tricked me into wasting 20 minutes in the master bedroom when it was in the basement to another ghost that I cant remember the type that was based in the garage and decided to just pop up every few seconds in the foyer. Wouldnt pop up in its room. Only in the foyer.
The two yureis I remember from my solo missions yesterday certainly did like to mess with me (teddy bear giggling, light switching, moving doors, manifesting etc.)
I think they were both the granny model (can’t remember if I saw the first one) and both picked an area in or around the kid’s room on Tanglewood.
My favorite interaction with the first one was it somehow flipped the breaker and as I went to head to the basement I hear the teddy bear giggle behind me. My heart definitely skipped a beat. It giggled again later as I was passing the room to go to the van.
seeing that the only death is from a rev is the funniest shit
I had a spirit run and he hunted like 8 times chained in total he hunted 12 times it was crazy
It'd be amazing to do the same thing with teams of four and see how these stats compare.
Out of 100 missions for me I only had banshee's 5 times :/ thank god i hate banshees more than revs but wOw only 5 times… where have my banshee's been?
I wonder if the poltergeist has fewer events due to some kind of gating on the event type? For example, maybe it heavily favors "touch" events like throwing items and moving doors but has a much lower chance for electronics? I'm not sure if the Phasmo code differentiates events like that or if they have different chance rates per ghost type.
But, if that's the case then the poltergeist might score lower on total events. Especially in certain rooms that might have non-dominant event targets but few of the touch type. 🤷♂️
I instantly subbed because you tickled my love for graphs
Spirits are absolutely bonkers. Really easy to spot.
I might actually try this myself. This video was pretty interesting to me!
This WAS very interesting. Love these kinds of statistics and can't wait for future updates! I can apply them to my friends and my own rounds of Phasmophobia.

this was amazing! thank you so much for taking the time to put this together and share it!
I've been looking forward to this!!
Love the results! Great job Nuzz
Please create ghost models tier list
I play solo quite often and whenever I’ve gotten a crazy ghost I’ve very reliably been able to often guess from that alone, that it is either a spirit or a shade. Those two ghost types are bonkers.
In my data I find usually get an Oni almost half of the time, its a bet between me and my friends how quickly we find one as we get them so damn often, with Phantom, Mare, Wraith and Banshee being the other most common ones I see. Weirdly the Yurei seems to be the rarest one for me. In over 100 hours and probably about 120 or so missions maybe more I've only ever had 5 Yureis. They are also very inactive for me, they rarely ever show up you have to spend 30 minutes watching walk back and forth beeping the sensors before it does anything, even when at low sanity in hunting range they dont do much at all for me.
The low activity numbers for poltergeist kind of make me wonder if there's a bug or coding issue, honestly. Because I'm sure they're intended to be more active than average
I dont know about anyone else, but I hardly ever get spirits. Also, I have hardly ever had a shy poltergeist. Other than that, it seems like the trends are accurate.
I've been keeping track of my phasmo games as well since November. It is not as detailed as this one but still good for comparison. I mostly use it to see what the best equipment is to bring at the start of the game to get a piece of early evidence. Fascinating! Poltergeist surprises me.
I hardly ever get jinn. I get wraith a lot!! My phantoms are super active and my banshee's… not so much. 😅
Could you do a showcase of the ghostmodels, so people know to which you are referring?
This video was certainly interesting as I've had different experiences. In solo and group runs Spirits, Onis and Yureis have always been a headache as they've barely been active during my runs. Poltergeists and Banshees were more around the middle ground for me and Shade was not as active but more so than the first 3 I mentioned. Would have the odd crazy ghost but would always be different so was never most of the time a certain one.
Not suprised the shade is so active, in my experience they always start chain hunting us, usually before we get the final clue. They may be shy, but only until the sanity drops.
Good job sir. – Retro
This is pretty interesting, but my shades are very shy. My last shade had a total on 18 interactions on a 30 minute round (asylum) with 0 ghost events. Found the room after like 5 – 10 minutes.
There's 4 girl ghost models and 7ish male I believe. 1 is old and 1 is a kid, so I'm not surprised the ring girl was so popular because when the game roles the characteristic for the ghost, 50/50 boy or girl, normal age has a higher chance I believe so she doesn't have much competition
Very cool statistics, thanks for sharing!
PS: Eagerly awaiting the next RPG installment
My spirits have been crazies too. 🤣
Now this was very interesting data to see. Of course things change with games and all that, but for me personally I find that Revenants have a tendency to be quieter and less active. They silent but deadly buggers 😉 Shades can go either way, I've had shy Shades in solo and really active ones. Banshees can go either way as well, but for me they've usually been quieter. Luring me near them so they can hunt me XD Spirits are definitely bonkers, I've had some that do literally nothing even when I try to piss them off and others that behave a lot like a Poltergeist without me doing anything XD And sometimes my Phantoms are crazy active as well for some reason, throwing stuff around like a Poltergeist and throwing me for a loop haha
For me, I feel like my most active ghosts are revenant, oni, mare and jinn. I barely run into shades or demons. My spirit experience is that they do stuff but not on the crazy, they just sort of do interactions. And poltergeist is sort of the "this ghost feels like a spirit but it had a ghost orb so it has to be poltergeist."
Very interesting results!
I do feel like Poltergeists have gotten more quiet over time. I remember a particular game half a year back where I was painstakingly trying to place all plates and cutlery back on the table, but the Poltergeist seriously threw them off quicker than I could return them. Nowadays, even when we go out of our way to place a pile of shoes in the ghost room, our polties just don't touch any items ever. I wonder what changed!
I think they balanced poltergeists to have less activity because they have the highest potential to absolutely delete your sanity if the room had a lot of items and it uses its power. Granted you do have to set it up for it to work, maybe 6 objects in the room and you just need 7 ghost hunting equipment in the room for its power to overtake a Phantom's manifestation sanity drain(you said 25% right?).
Another data point worth exploring could be the ghost behaviour based on what the "narrator" says at the start of each mission. (Reports of violence, ghost sightings, light switching…etc).
Spirits are wildcards for me too. I think some of it has to do with the fact that we don’t really have expectations for spirits bc they sound so mundane on paper—and then we get weirded out bc we don’t have any really solid preconceived notions of how they should be.
I usually play with other people, but my polters are pretty active. They throw items much more than most other ghosts and the ghost room is often scattered with items by the end of the mission. One of my more recent polters gave itself away immediately when it threw three items at the same time as soon as I entered the room.
I honestly can't remember the last time I had a Yurei. It's been at least 5 weeks or more. I've been through at least 35 runs without a Yurei. I want more horror elements into the game more than extra difficulty
i hope the developer consider adding Pontianak(SEA ghost) in the game so there are more varieties and scare for the gameplay
Amazing work. Well done and major thanks.
What about the hunt stats?
Nuzz your almost at 50k!! keep up the good content!
Maybe the Oni's low activity is explained by the fact that you play solo. When I play in a group, Onis are Spirit-level active, they become crazy when there's 2-3 people in the building.
Im surprised your revenants are active. Mostly when I have a rev i dont see him at all, few events and suddenly hunt.
