They should make it so you could run, but that some ghosts like to chase and catch running people. The problem with the walk only is that it doesn't show how truly terrifying it could be. If you can sprint and still not outrun a ghost it will be way worse and thus better.
Make a ghost that sobs like a child to draw you in. As you lose sanity you start to hallucinate and see/hear things that aren't there and thus confuse your team. It would add to the terror
If I could make a map, I'd do the underground base from Resident Evil, complete with rooms with glass walls filled with zombies. While the zombies can't get you, they can jump scare you or just freak you out. Bloody drag marks on the floor and handprints on the walls with stains.
Just the map messing with your psyche a bit more. If the players become a bit more unhinged it would add so much flavour to the game.

You asking NightRaven at level 157 was something I would've done at level 1. That made me smile. The professional investigations always make me jump now, bro. I'm gon' end up throwing my spine out of place. I'm gon' need to join your Discord so I can hopefully meet your crew. You cats all seem to be 'round my age & maturity level. Also, great taste in music! It's was sweet how you lined the hallways with candles for the ladies. I bet you get all the girls. Raven & Aqua had great teamwork. I'd like to see more of them. That poltergeist in the asylum was going ham with the lights. Yay! I got so happy when I heard Nyobi join you. You ran with a bunch of badass teams in this video.
Going back to rewatch thtese older streams, you really see the difference and changes that were made to improve the game.

An older asylum would be nice. One of the ones that closed down back in the 50s and 60s when the people put in them were subjected to "insane" thing's (pun intended) in the name of science and medicine
