  1. I think I've undervalued the para mic because I played Phasmo a lot back when it used to be useless. Like before there was DOTS evidence and other stuff added. The big thing was that you could just walk around and hear the ghost throw stuff anyway, so what use is the para mic really? But from watching your video, I think the big use is the ghost whispers and banshee scream that you can't hear at all any other way. Without the para mic, there are ghost interactions more frequently that you are literally missing.

  2. The T3 paramic is absolutely busted for identifying ghosts.
It has a 10 meter and 15 meter range finder on the screen. This coincides with the exact distance at which normal ghosts (10 meters) or a raiju (15 meters) will cause static on your radio. So if you listen to a ghost hunt with your paramic out and your radio turned on, and the radio turns to static when the ghost is 15 meters away, it's 100% a raiju (or mimic copying a raiju). No need to get close to the ghost with electronics to check its speed.
You can hear poltergeist explosions with the paramic.
You can identify myling both through increased whispers as well as seeing the exact distance to the ghost during a hunt and toggling the paramic off to see if the footsteps should be normally audible.
You can identify banshee (special scream).
You can identify deogen immediately during a hunt (before it's within audible footstep range) because it will show you the ghost rapidly running straight towards your location on the screen without any detours. Meaning you have more time to leave your hiding spot if you're in a tight corner.
You can identify hantu/thaye/revenant/moroi/twins/raiju speed footsteps from far away.
You can identify yurei double door touches from far away.
On large maps where you can't find the ghost room, the paramic can show you where the ghost is starting its hunts from.
You can identify moroi by having your sanity drain faster than everybody else's after hearing a paramic whisper, or having your sanity drain in a lit room if you're playing single player.

No other tool is as versatile as the T3 paramic.
