  2. with my custom, we make a little over $2k every 10 mins on sunny meadows in multiplayer… something like an 11x multiplier… i really wish they would lock noobs (below level 100) out of custom difficulty because i swear it's like every other run, i get a noob that picks up flashlight, says over radio "WHY ISNT MY FLASHLIGHT WORKING" and then leaves so we have to be more careful with sanity… its literally every 2nd or 3rd run that happens

  3. 👍Using the board is a very good way to learn the layout of the building. I now have it memorized and no longer need a map. I have played a couple hundred rounds of 15x on SM. I highly recommend asking for the bone first and then listen for the ghost while you fetch it. If you do not hear the ghost by the time you get back to the board then you can ask it. I discovered that roughly 1 out of 5 rounds you will clearly hear the ghost (while fetching the bone) and will not need to waste sanity asking the board for the ghost room. It also allows time for the ghost room to become freezing, if applicable, so you can see you breath by the time you get there.

  4. if you take the emf with you to ouija board, it can very easily give u emf5 or allow you to rule out emf5

  5. I mean this is pretty great, buuuuut with a perfect game you can do a map like willow and make almost $1200 and it takes WAAAAY less than half the time of a Sunny Meadows run lol.

    Thumbs up either way for a nice difficulty level

  6. I still think my idea of you getting a percentage increase from negative 100% for every completed objective is 10x better than this-

    So, if you complete all three objectives, you only lose around 50% profit. But if you also get the ghost right, you only lose 25% profit 🤷‍♂️ So, you will never get the full bonus, but aren't punished for doing high difficulty challenges like 15x and above.

    Or just tone down the multiplier? Make it so 15x is the 24x 😂

  7. @Insym, I recommend you switch the Spirit Box to "Text Mode" instead of "Speech Mode"
    Using Text mode, the Spirit Box has no detection delay and 0% error rate… so you have a higher chance of getting a response if you spam the questions.

  8. I have been playing like this since custom difficulty came out, only difference is that I pick the mirror instead of the board, so I can just throw everything in there and wait for evidence to come out.

  9. Still not sure why they worry about the money and levels . Maxing doesnt seem like itd hurt the game at all. Its not like there is a progression system or like rewards you unlock but atleast they toned down the multiplier restriction

  10. I did the 24x multiplier with random low lvl players actually, I uploaded it incase you would like to see xD

  11. I still don't understand why they don't want to reward us. It's not a pay2win kind of game, let me earn a crazy amount of money/levels. There's nothing wrong with that? And it's fun

  12. Incase anyone wants to do this with possibly 3 other players, you can duplicate the pills. Drop the pills somewhere and have everyone gather near the bottle, do a countdown and everyone tries to pick up the same bottle, if it worked everyone should have a pill bottle. It will disappear so you should just cycle through your items and you’ll have the bottle again.

  13. did this with a full party of 4 with a 11x multiplier, the rounds were around 5-10 minutes tops (with the exception of one round being literally 2 minutes) and we would all walk away with 1500-1600 each time

  14. I still hope that Custom difficulty can add type of the ghost what we want…
    The target is new player, so instead of hop to amateur and getting confused at least they can learn how the ghost work first

About the trophy thing: Yes, it is bugged, no, it's not as simple as restarting your game for all situations, I had completed the challenge two weeks ago and I opened and closed phasmo like every day without getting the trophy or my badge, but today I randomly did the Tanglewood map again on the Christmas event and I got the trophy, and before any five head asks, yes the Christmas three icon was already checkmarked before, obviously. So if someone reads this and still can't get the trophy try replaying the event in one of the maps until you get it, Maybe that will work

  16. The balancing I would aim for would be:
    -Adding or selecting a specific cursed possession will it at 3x;
    -Rebalance multipliers above the curated difficulties so that 24x is 12x-10x, 20x is 10x-8x and 15x is 8x-6x (I would aim for the upper numbers but the devs might think those rewards are still too much).

    Cursed possessions are great fun so I wouldn't want to nerf normal usage, however, certain items can be easily exploited by some strategies. Those strategies probably aren't worth it if you have to continuously reset with a 1/6 chance of getting the one you want. That's why I think immediately capping the rewards to professional level if a player adds additional cursed possessions or selects a specific one is warranted.

    I would like to see amateur get a consolation prize when incorrect so that new players can still progress as they learn. I think having amateur earn more than intermediate when incorrect is fine as long as intermediate earns considerably more when the ghost is correct. This would incentivize new players to move up to intermediate only when their confident at gathering evidence.

    I also agree that, even as it is currently, you need to know the game to level optimally. There are plenty of ghosts that can ruin your optimal runs; demon obviously but also thaye, yokai, moroi, onryo and maybe raiju if you're struggling. I had a close encounter with a moroi but I as soon as it was an option I chose to grab crucifixes rather than the final evidence items.

    I found low roaming to be superior than no changing room. It will basically never change room as it doesn't leave its room and the board will almost always tell you the ghost room as it hangs out there 99% of the time.

    I was also doing upside down, 2-evidence missions earlier (~12x) and I had great success with the chapel piano hiding spot.
