I was thinking about Oni when you mentioned it chucking the plate. Heh. But yeah, it was definitely exhibiting Oni behavior while in the dark. I think this new prompt twist adds a fun element to the game and makes it so that it'd be pretty tough to impossible to pinpoint a ghost based on behavior alone.

Dusk was the reason I got phasmophobia in the first place, thanks to him I had an amazing end of the year with so many great moments on the game.

How did he find emf5?
In one of your future videos, could you explain how you use the graph in the van to determine EMF5? Is it if there is a spike of 5 points between 2 consecutive points, like if it shoots from a 3 to 8, or from a 1 to 6?
I still don't understand how to read the emf graph in the truck… I've seen multiple videos, but it just isn't getting through to me. I guessed Oni because it obviously wasn't leaving any fingerprints and the freezing breath wasn't showin up, so I ruled those two clues out which left only Oni
If I were a ghost, someone coming into my house and pouring salt all over and dropping items everywhere would get me hunting as well.

Not gonna lie, that was an unusually passive oni. If it wasn't so quick to give out evidence, I wouldn't have guessed it right.
I've started playing this game about two weeks ago. I don't normally indulge in the horror genre of anytihng (books, tv, games etc) but this game has me hooked. I found your videos and they have been so helpful in teaching me about the game as well as being very entertaining. I'm jealous of your beard too, I can't get mine to look like that. 😀

I had a strange ghost hunt there. The temperature was dropped to 5 in the dining room, and only there. But the ghost´s room was the laundry, where there was no drop. I double checked it, and that was consistent through all the run. Temp below 5 in the dining room, but normal in the ghost room. Is this a bug, or maybe something made to deceive hunters?
I love these so much. It’s a nice way to get my phasmophobia fix of the day if I can’t get to the computer to play.

Hey dusk, I was wondering if you knew if the text on the contract before selecting them indicates what kind of behaviour the ghost will have? I've noticed it changing, so I'm curios if its connected to the prompts or the way the ghost is going to behave. Also thank you very much for these vids, they have helped me figure out the ghosts and made me better at this game, even though I'm too scared for solo still 🙂
Hope we get some soon that aren't "you solve it". I get it's cool for some people to play a long but they're not really that fun if you want to hear your commentary and deductions.

These videos are actually getting me so much more confident in my Phas playing. I cannot do solos what so ever, but I'm becoming way more confident with my friends! I've started watching a ton of your Phas videos, thank you so much for doing things like this!
So I've been doing a lot of testing on Ridgeview since you stated you've never had a ghost in the bathroom upstairs to the right (stated in a previous video) and after nearly 30 runs, I've still yet to encounter a ghost in that bathroom. However, some conclusions that I can draw is that the ghosts haunting Ridgeview have a higher chance of being located in the foyer/kitchen area than any other spot in the house. I actually started placing a sound sensor under the porch light switch so I don't shit my pants right away (I'll explain that in a minute). Another conclusion I can draw (not official, could totally be coincidental) demons on Ridgeview are INSANE and nearly always in the foyer. Multiple times I walked in the front door and asked "give me a sign" and immediately got screeched at by the demon. One attempted a hunt as soon as I walked in but I was on intermediate so the timer saved me. Beware of demons on ridgeview. I'm so scared to enter Ridgeview because of them I started using sound sensors lmao

First off all, Congrats for the good videos, they help me alot to get a little better and die less rsrsrs.
But I have two question If someone could help me with this?
1 – If I'm playing coop and don't bring any additional equip, if I die I still lose something or win cash by photos, bone evidence?
2 – All the players need to be at truck when we finish investigation or just one to close the back door is enough?

I thought you could only know emf off the emf reader? You said we got emf level 5 which showed up on the activity board? the activity board is emf aswell?
I just pulled off a 1 evidence run and succeeded. I got emf 5, and then it hunted at like 75 sanity. I instantly knew it was a banshee

Mares flick the lights on all the time now. Had one earlier I thought was a jinn it was messing with them so much. It wasn't until I had a light turn on in a room opposite side of the house where the ghosts room was that I knew it was a mare because mares roam like a mf
