Before starting the game, players can change the volume of others in the game, so if someone is talking to a ghost (in the game), the others do not have to be frightened by that voice.

Try doing more side objectives and finding more items, they give a decent amount of money

Another thing that you can do on phasmaphobia is hold a candle in your hand And it'll make your sanity go down slower
