Welcome back to Phasmophobia! They changed Glowsticks in the New Update and Glowsticks are actually SO MUCH BETTER now! They give off an insane amount of light for 1 minute and after that minute they basically turn into what the old glowsticks used to be like. So it’s an all around buff! Especially because ghosts are not attracted by the glowstick light so you can actually use it to escape hunts safely. I really like this change! Much love and see you during the streams LD

4 glowsticks, tripog level 3
I have been using the lighter as an undetectable light source.
If we can have 6 video cameras, then we can have more glowsticks
i get the point youre trying to make, but it just seems kinda useless still. like, maybe if youre right on top of the ghost its better than a flashlight, but id still rather have a flashlight, saves me an inv space, and i just turn it off before i get into my hiding spot. seems like a forced use lol
They should add a feature if the glow stick is in a freezing room they stay brighter longer
The candle still seems to outclass the glowstick a majority of the time because if a hunt has started then the ghost won't really be blowing your candle out and if you can reignite the candle with a lighter whilst the glowstick loses it's effectiveness relatively fast.
On top of the fact that the candle, well, prevents passive sanity drain from being in the dark.
Maybe a upgrade to the glowsticks is chemlights?
The one thing I hate a lot is that they change the camera color. It makes the camera so hard to spot when you drop it on the floor when the whole floor is pitch black.
6:17 The further you can see with glowsticks "glitch" it's because of "screenspace reflections" I think the object itself was modeled with light properties and the candle is a "point light" invisible to the player camera (produces light around) with an animation image visible to the player camera.

i still think they need to add a weakness to crucifixes on demons cause almost all unholy things are repelled or weakened by holy things such as crucifixes and since demons are VERY unholy since their you know FROM HELL it would make sense to have a weakness based on the crucifix
Save sound sensors by fusing them into the motion sensor, bam. Saved. That or increase their effect area enough to be useful for asylum or highschool
They still need to make sound sensor useful, I'd love if it had a good use

What about a lighter ? Can a ghost track u with a lighter?
Lighters shouldn't take up an inventory slot. We have pockets right?
How I have been using the glowstick is I detect whether it's a fingerprints ghost or not first with the UV flashlight. Once I know it's fingerprints, I get on with the rest of the investigation. At the end, if I haven't been hunted yet, I let the ghost hunt once or twice.
At this point, crack a glowstick to run around and quickly locate all the fingerprints I need to fill up my photos (slam a sanity pill or two so it will leave me alone while I work at this stage). Since it's so bright initially, it's much more efficient at finding multiple fingerprints. You'll walk into a hallway and see 4 or 5 different fingerprint locations at once. Snap your photos real quick and then out the door.
Always liked glowsticks before for helping reveal footprints for photos so I was sad with the initial nerf but now this is amazing and I have way more uses for it. I've also always wanted more even before this buff just to help reveal more salt piles for footsies.
