  1. I think you are forgetting how skilled you are in this game when you say "the Hantu is still underwhelming". Most people will die quickly when trying to loop a Hantu. The devs should collect (and publish occasionally) stats on which ghost are most deadly and such.

  2. We had four preist cards due to luck and we were in nightmare, this VR kid dies, he respawns three times then runs away, me and my buddy were hiding in a closet, he turned his torch on and off, the ghost ran towards us killed him he respawns and then the hunt ends shortly after, it was a Jinn but we had breaker on.

  3. I remember when you could see the Hantu's breath every few seconds in its first incarnation even if the ghost is invisible, then they changed it to if only the ghost is visible it gives the freezing breath 100% but it made the Hantu is eating like a cotton candy, and fused those two together and you get, Hantu ran out of Cotton Candy, DK please give Hantu his/her Candy back.

  4. I had a hantu in a nightmare game and it bamboozled as into believing that it was a Jinn because they never turn off the breaker for some reason and I was to scared to test it out if it was fast or slow, because I had no smudge stick xD

  5. But what if it was snowing weather would the rooms then get cold enough for it to have a chance.

Edit: Needs more testing on different weather to figure out how big this change really is we shouldn't just go off this game but I love the changes.

Keep up the good work insym love to see more vids soon.

  6. I hope the game can be less cautious with buffing the ghosts. I understand not every ghost has to be all time rev full speed, but having different ghost dangerous (extremely dangerous maybe) in different situation is so much fun. Just like if the Hantu can make the adjacent rooms be always at 3-6degree while the room he's in at >3%, he will be so fun to play with.
Also with different ghosts eg Yurei with more closed door the faster it moves or it can close all the doors it goes into during a hunt
eg Polter the more movable item in the room the less the player can sprint
just different ideas to make ghosts interesting to play with is gonna make the game experience so much better.

  7. Maybe he turned it back on cuz he was freezing xD

I always wonder why the temperature is changing that much in the same room, thats not how it works 😅 and it is pretty annoying in the game when it is first 9° and a second later 14°… I hope they fix that

  8. 20:34 yea, the breathe isn't entirely necessary now. Which is why I actually think they don't really need to change it since you can figure out the Hantu more reliable with these speed tests. It can just be a cool little thing that maybe you catch a glimpse of sometimes to help you identify the ghost, but most of the time you're just going to identify it with the speed tests. Which feels as it should be.

  9. I think the reason why this Hantu turned the breaker on so much is because while the devs intention was to make the Hantu turn off the breaker more often, it probably resulted in the Hantu generally interacting with the breaker more, regardless if it's on/off.

  10. I would have the hantu have less chance to turn on the breaker and when there is a fan in the room, the hantu has more chance to interact with it as the fans should make the room colder.

  11. We need a ghost type that speeds up (Could be gradually speeding up) when the player sprints, and slowly slows down to a default minimum when the player is walking again, that way it would chase after players which it targets and are sprinting, so to counter it, you have to walk to a hiding spot, or use smudge, or be more careful with your positioning or loop it, so you can cut corners to hide (It could also only speed up if you sprint infront of it during Line of sight) It's basically a banshee that speeds up if you run away from it but it doesn't withhold only a single target, it targets the first person it sees running (NOT. for the entire hunt duration, it can swap targets it sees running if they are within a certain distance away from the ghost) this ghost would be medium to easy to deal with on small maps but on large maps like asylum in the hallways, if you forget to not sprint or if you haven't figured the ghost out yet it could be deadly.

  12. I think its fine as is, they just need to allow for it to also speed up in LOS. The temp based speed increase is better thematically in my opinion than a general "is breaker off", and combined with the chase speed would still be threatening.

They could do something like "hantu makes house Temps drop faster " to replace the breath weakness, but I think that would probably be too obvious

  13. Sorry, not related, but are the smudge sticks broken? Since the last patch, every time I use them during a hunt, the ghost still follows me for a few seconds and then kills me. It never happened before.

  14. I think they should buff the normal weather speed for sure, But I like the idea of the hantu being more scary when it's cold weather. Maybe they could do something like he cools the rooms down faster when the breaker is off. But what I think is it only should be the fastest in all of the house when it's cold weather. Maybe a simple move speed buff for the 10ish celsius helps. Of course I agree that it shouldn't turn on the breaker.
