How I Got the Special Badge from the WORST MAP in Phasmophobia

Welcome back to Phasmophobia! In this video we go to my least favorite map in the game: Point Hope. I love the way this map looks but I hate playing on it. There is however a special badge that you can only earn on this map. So let’s fight through the pain and GET IT! ENJOY!

  1. They could add a backpack as a very late game item for solo players, maybe put it behind the first prestige, it could let you have 2 rows of inventory you can switch between but it either slows you down or halves your sprint or something so you can load it up to bring more shit in then drop it somewhere. Might be an easier add than the Dumb Waiter, would also help in other maps. Point Hope is a really cool map but I hardly ever play on it even in duo because it's always a top floor ghost. I've played so infrequently I didn't know the hunts bugged out on the stairs, your fix for that sounds like a great idea!

  2. I think the technical/programming part of the team has been too tied up in the console release hell for too long whilst the art people continued on.
Hope they can get back on track in 2025!❤

  3. Hear me out devs: an elevator. That literally fixes the entire stairs problem I feel like. You walk up the stairs when finding the ghost but like if you've got a top floor ghost you take the elevator to save on time and stamina? It can malfunction just like other ghost equipment during a hunt and take you to a random floor or not work at all on higher difficulty like a breaker? Idk just food for thought.

  4. The last time i played Point Hope, the ghost was in the kitchen/second floor, but when it hunted it spawned on the ground floor and instantly caught me with my pants down coz the lights were off and i didnt know it was there until it was in my face.

  6. my second hunt back on Phasmophobia after like a year and a half of a break was a random hunt with friends. We got Point Hope on Professional, with a Blood Moon Banshee… up next to the light on the top floor… guess who was the targeeettttt~

  7. Valid criticism. Unfortunately, Prison has cell blocks, which will forever be my final criteria for the worst map in the game.
I could listen to criticism of any map (and agree with it), but I will still point at Prison and say "at least it's not THAT".

Like yes, Point Hope effectively breaks the game because of its verticality, but at least it's not Prison.
Yes, camp Woodwind has really vague room borders that are annoying to deal with, but at least it's not Prison.
Yes, Sunny Meadows and Brownstone are just too large for normal gameplay, but at least it's not Prison with its stupid cell blocks (also, Brownstone Restricted when?).

I guess you can say that I hate the Prison map.

  8. Playing this map in VR
Pros: can carry 4 items per trip instead of 3
cons: You need to get carried IRL to a hospital afterwards.

Also making it a medium map would fix multiple issues, A: it would give you more reward for playing on such a shitty map B: You could turn on more lights , so you could easily turn on both light switches on the floor with a smaller chance of the breaker breaking.

  9. The lighthouse is one of the reasons I want a bag item where you can stuff items in it to carry up in one go, with the catch being you can't use items in the bag. So, you'd stuff the bag, go to the ghost room, dump out the bag, and have all the stuff you need in a single trip.

This thought mostly brought to you by the motivation to give Insym engagement for the algorithim.

  10. I actually feel good that I have the lighthouse and ranger challenge badges before Insym… Do I have any apocalypse? No. Can I play solo? Absolutely fucking not. But still I did a thing before Insym who's the phasmo guru 😂

  11. i would imagine the time it takes to grab all ur equipment and take it to the ghost room and stuff, would be the same if you play other big maps? like prison, or sunny meadows? is it not just the same thing but " oh no i have to go up "

  12. One of my complaints is if you have a deo that's on the top floor, and you're on the bottom, the hunt ends before it can even reach you. I had that happen, and I crossed off deo since it didn't reach me. So next hunt I was higher up in floors, and it started its hunt and I almost died because I was hiding.. and it was a deo.. lol

    One complaint of many lol

  13. Random idea of how to “fix” the map. Do 2 versions like Sunny Meadows. The full one can be medium size and for the smaller version you can have the top floors collapsed so the map only goes as tall as the games floor. That would make the waking times significantly more bearable while leaving the map as intended as well

  14. Maybe they could just add a new item to the game like a backpack or a tool belt, something along them lines. That way we can carry 1-3 more items on us based on level of it. Or it can be 1 singular level but 2 things extra. & maybe it can have a debuff, like when wearing it your sprint runs out faster or something like that. Just incase if they really have an issue with thinking it will be game break breaking. But you can be able to drop it whenever to get that sprint speed back, but ghost can move it on you or anything like that.

  15. I still like prison it reminds me of my first ever paranormal experience. I believe I talked about it before, but cliff notes I was playing airsoft in an abandoned prison my group heard disembodied footsteps I searched an office and found a bloody shank and a truncheon with hair and bone stuck to it

  16. One of the rounds I played on Point Hope had a Deogen. We hadn't found the ghost room yet (or maybe we had, this was a long while ago) and we were right at the front and the door slammed shut. My friend was outside laughing while I sprinted for the bathroom shower. Sat in there, listening to the footsteps and very, very quietly, I hear the fastest steps I had ever heard thundering down the steps. It had sprinted from the top of the lighthouse all the way to the bottom, and scared the shit out of me when it opened the door to the bathroom and slowed down. The hunt ended right as it opened the door to the shower.

Anyways, I got to scream "IT'S A DEO" as my friends cackling outside at both the fortune and misfortune of having a Deo. I think we've only completed about 10 games on lighthouse and most of them we're me putting it on peaceful to try and get the badge in SP (I,, don't do horror well alone so I prefer MP and being able to joke with friends lol)

  17. I just played a game on Point Hope for one of my first games after not playing for a while and the ghost was in the ENTRANCE. So I took that as a message as the game wanting me to play again.

  18. They should add a dumbwaiter so you can load up items into it and then take them all to the ghost room floor at once and you wouldn’t have to walk up and down so much, which would also help preserve sanity

  19. I think one solution would be a Backpack, which would work like the Tripods. You carry the Backpack in one inventory slot, but inside you can fit 3 items. To use those items, you put the backpack down and then pull the items out. Maybe only specific items can go in the backpack, smaller items that would fit correctly and not clip out of the model – stuff like EMF Readers, Smudges, Salt, UV, etc.

  20. I hate the Point Hope Map, I have done that like 300+ times in a row when I got that badge after 50 correct ghosts, then friends saw and wanted it, then more did. Its not really a rare badge, sure it was when the event bench / table wasn't there. But I had both the Point Hope Badges a long time before they made it public via the Events Table.

  21. insym: talking about how to put the last known location at the bottom of the stairs
us: knowing it will take at least 3 years to implement not really 3 years I just mean that as in whenever they update the game after like 8 months or when there is an event
