I Still Have NO IDEA What Happened Here – Phasmophobia

Welcome back to Phasmophobia. In this video we find a really weird ghost that did some things that I still can’t explain. I really hope you enjoy! Much love and see you during the streams 😀

  1. I highly suspect, although it's a very hot take, that upstairs between the two rooms furthest away (Master bedroom / Boys Teen Bedroom / Stairs) there might be a broken wall in which the ghost can step into and through. it would explain incidents where the ghost could switch between the rooms without passing the hallway in earlier versions (although i think it happened to me in the current version once). Then inside the wall (maybe in the wall to the stairs) it can glitch through the walls dropping down into the basement. Whaddaya think? Ghost story? :3

  2. I think I have a far fetched explaination. What if the ghost was at the top of the stairs, and then decided to change its ghost room, so it went to the upstairs hallway, and then did it again into the bedroom. I’m kind of not even confident in that because its not even nightmare but I don’t have any other ideas. Thanks for the video Insym!

  3. Sounded too loud to be the basement. I think it may have started in an upstairs room so you didn't notice it while down there (or just happened to not notice it downstairs), touched the door through the ceiling, and hunted on the ground floor? Though it did sound like it came from the stairs, so others' ideas of there being a broken wall between that room and the stairs is a possibility too so it just "roamed" quick.

  4. At 1:59, after you summoned it to the summoning circle and took the picture you can hear a door shut somewhere in the house. I wonder if that's a clue as to what's going on with this game. I wonder if Edgefield's basement is bugged somehow in how it relates to the other rooms in the house?

  5. Questions, and why I think it makes sense as a Jinn, but eh who knows? lol! Anyways 1.) Don't ghosts normally start a hunt from the circle, even after you light it the first time around? 2.) Since It's a Jinn and Jinn love breakers isn't the breaker in the basement? Thusly, it starting hunts down there would make sense, because of the breaker? 3.) and lastly, didn't it simply change rooms due to the circle summoning? Because doesn't the circle make it start there first, and then switch it up afterwards? So the Jinn starting hunts from the basement, or where ever downstairs would make even more sense that way once again?
I could be wrong, but yeah lol! I don't see how it's confusing, but I wouldn't be surprised if I'm totally misunderstanding the game itself. Meh xD Thanks for uploading! 😀

  6. Sorry for second comment, but I like your breaker idea! How when you turn on the breaker it temporarily pacifies the Jinn. So it doesn't use it's sanity drain on you for x amount of time, because you gave it a power boost. Kinda like a raiju eating up the power, so the Jinn would be there going "aw yis, dis the good stuff" for a moment until it completely wrecks house. xD hehe

  7. this map always gets me.
I had an amateur game where it interacted in the basement, the nursery room had a mannequin teleport into it and then had stuff in the garage thrown about.
It seemed like every part of the house was being interacted with.

This level never gives me a consistent room

  8. What's the shape of the ghost's zone of interaction?

I know it can interact through walls if that object is falls in that zone.

If it's like a dome or a bubble, then could a ghost possibly interact with objects in a room above it?

If it hunted from the breaker it could have touched the door while in the garage.

But it was a Jinn and the breaker was on. It had no business even being in the garage.

  9. Jinn's do breaker checks it seems. it TP's the ghost to the breakre to check for on/off state. if off then Jinn will turn it on, if on then do nothing.

Could be that is started a hunt during that time

  10. Insym I'm telling you, it's always Edgefield! A lot of my weirdest runs happened here where the hunting and activities happen everywhere around the house and does not make sense once we find out the ghost. We joked around saying this map is a whole ghost room because IT IS.

  11. This makes me feel like CJ is just going to add a ghost that can do whatever the hell it wants in the next update but not mention it in the notes. Just label it as a rotating ghost so it’s never the same twice.

  12. Just to mention me and my friends had a ghost on maple lodge that hunted and roamed near on everywhere on the map, we were on nightmare so we picked twins instead of Jinn, boy were we surprised to learn it just was a extremely roamy Jinn

  13. I've seen enough those broken hunts, when ghost touches the door inside his ghost room, but starts the hunt from another location. It often happens to me at 0 sanity

Hantu did this to me twice this week

My bet – it is somehow connected to sanity

This is the reason why i rarely guess twins on nightmare

  14. We got a Manshee two days ago, with my friends, on Tanglewood. He was doing NOTHING. We went under 25% sanity, each of us. No heee's, no hoooo's … not even singing. We played on professional, so the clues gave it away, but it was behaving odd. Only thing we did was dropped two Crucifixes into the Foyer which it was haunting. That's it.
No surprise that this Jinn decided to roam hard.
