Perhaps the Smudge just counts you as "hidden" temporarily in terms of coding. If that's how they did it then it would explain why she slows during smudge.

the smudge stick bug happened to me aswell except it didn't work even though it was the first smudge stick I used
unless it is bugged in a way that if a friend uses it, the cooldown probably applies to everyone

The smudge applies at the start and the end so when you smudged the start of it stunned the ghost and then the end of the smudge was a bit before the ghost started attacking you again which caused it to not get affected by the end of the smudge but it counted the end of the smudge as you smudging her again which caused her to become unsmudgeable for 6 seconds more so when you guys did the tests it was 12-15 seconds after you smudge because of this. This could be fixed by making the ghost target you again after 6 secs but making the smudge duration end after 6.33 which would stun her again properly after 1/3 of a second where she attacks again or you could just remove the stun effect at the end of the smudge which would let her attack again but not be unsmudgeable and you can properly smudge her after she attacks

I got Lisa today as my ghost and she was so mean to me 🙁 she hunted then stopped hunting then when I got out of my hiding spot she started hunting again like straight away and she did that 3 times I’m surprised I didn’t die I didn’t have a smudge lol
