In the next update to nightmare mode, if you try to open the door and forgot the key, the ghost just kills you instantly
The amount of times I’ve done this. Ugh I felt that in my bones. But nice to see the person I’ve learned everything about this game from can still do something like that. I love the way your face said EVERYTHING! Lol
Next update:
Attempting to open the front door without a key will now spawn the ghost inside the van and force a hunt from there.

When I play with my friends they all get mad when I forget the key, cause Im apparently key lady and they dont care about the key xD

I remember this lol. The second most shameful thing is leave the game during a hunt. (I've alt f4'd rage quit a couple times, but it was in solo so at least I didn't screw over other people)

New Update (not really): Forgetting the key now instantly makes your lose ALL sanity and it hunts outside.

I’m confused? I don’t play the game for myself and just started watching phasmophobia real recently, but can’t he go back and grab the key in the van? Why is it so shameful to walk back? I just don’t get it.

They should make you kill the person for the key who then becomes the ghost after killing them.
Next update:. If you try to open the door without the key, it will crash your OBS software.
Yep, every time you bring all of your stuff in a multiplayer mission and the ghost starts to kill you, the best way out is through an "accidental" crash

Lol, this reminds me when me and my friends play and all of us are at the door but none of us picked up the key so we start blaming each other instead.
What's worse is when you hit add all but you forgot to buy stuff after you died so you get into the game and there's just one regular flashlight for four of you.
"You forgot to get more strong flashlights didn't you?"
"…yep."
"Alright, well I'm gonna guess it's a Jinn, pack it up boys."
