This Ghost Type Cannot Kill You – Phasmophobia

Welcome back to Phasmophobia! In this video we take a look at the new Shade. This is a ghost that has changed in the latest update and it’s now EVEN WEAKER. They changed it to be even less active and on top of that it’s also unable to hunt above 35% average sanity, this means you’ll almost never get hunted against a shade. I think the shade is by far the weakest ghost in Phasmophobia but I think that’s okay. We need some calm ghosts to balance out the absolutely crazy and aggressive ghosts. What do you think? Much love and see you during the streams 😀

  1. Maybe quite bit of a hot take but maybe give the ghosts more emotion. Like for example maybe make the shade more shy but friendly. So maybe kind of like a nice ghost because that would be a nice turn around but more unique ghost. Could also add this to spirits like an emotion spectrum. Not to all of them though mainly some of the more neutralish ones

  2. Aggressive or passive, its all about knowing what to do with any given ghost. Shade being weaker just gives another way of playing around a ghost. It doesn’t need to be chain hunting and hiding, and I personally think its good to have for people to warm up to getting in a perfect game and learning how to aggravate the ghost.

  3. Honestly, I think there should be more ghosts that are very non-dangerous, but are stingier with their evidence, and have evidence that is similar to far more dangerous ghosts… Maybe even with a mimic like mechanic, where they have the same evidence as a demon, but there will be a fourth evidence as well. If it doesn't display this evidence easily, then you create a situation where players will start thinking, oh, hey, we got a Scooby ghost, no worries. But then it turns out to be something much worse. Adding some uncertainty isn't necessarily bad.

  4. If shade isn't going to kill me often, I'd rather it would scare the hell out of me some how. Even with it being shy, I'm sure there's things they could do to increase the creep factor. Maybe seeing it in mirrors staring at you, have it hiding around corners peaking out at you. No jump scares, just watching you and disappearing when you look at it. Obviously this would be a giveaway if done too often, but I want these ghosts to feel like more than just a low interaction chance.
