As someone who has played it on pc since day one(only game I play on pc), I was very excited for the console release was, but I don’t think they took into consideration that brand new console players who have never played this before aren’t going to be charging into bloodmoon maps with 0 experience in the game. I sure as hell wouldn’t, and on top of that, brand new players don’t even have access to all the maps til like level 16 and grinding on amateur suuuucccckkkksssss. I’m lucky that I have been able to play with my steam account open and use that account as my banker and run the map w my console player til I hit lvl 50 so I could do custom difficulty. I feel it stagnated due to the console player rush, should have been released a week before the Halloween event

  2. Man, I'd play it more, but the game lacks the scare factor that it used to have. I feel like the problem is they focused too hard on tools and the process of identifying the ghosts rather than the actual scare factor. Ghost interactions have barely changed, the ghost hunt is really only just an excuse to check footstep speed and movement behavior, and dying is STILL just getting the reacharound by the same pair of hands. There's a few other similar games (Ghost Watchers for instance) that leaned more into the horror aspect that I really wish Phasmo would take notes on. I WANT TO ACTUALLY BE WORRIED ABOUT WHAT THE GHOST MIGHT DO. Like, I choose to hide in a closet, hear something off, turn on my light, and there's the ghost sitting across from me moments before it jumps my *&^. Environmental horror is fine, but they really need to crank up the spooks. Please.

It's a shame but I've felt that they severely overestimated in the amount of people within' the playerbase, especially with them releasing this event alongside the console release and seeing how the event tracker barely changed lol. I wish they spent more time improving the quality of their game and adding more content versus spending so much time and resources into the console version/release when their game isn't even considered "done" or "full release" yet. Same thing when it comes to the price increase, I could see that being the case for their 1.0 "official release" of the game but to out of nowhere just be like "Yeah we think we've given you enough to warrant charging new players more money", like c'mon dawg.

I'm a little bit pissed about the change…we got up to 60% by the morning yesterday, with over 48 hours left….we could have done it….grinding out the almost 2000 points that I did up to when they changed it made me feel a bit scammed. Could have just not bothered with level 3 and gave us the Blood Moon… 😒

  5. In case anyone need it for the weekly challenge to make it easier. Every game i grabbed salt and UV and set the salt immediately near the campefire and made the guost walk through it during the hunt. The ghost is so slow you can check for UV during the hunt safely and immediately either get it or rule it out.

  6. The Raiju that you thought was a thaye, when you were on the paramic looping it on the couch, when you turned the paramic off the speed slightly changed. That (I think) was the only instance it You accidentally found an insane way to test for a Raiju. Super sick
