Games much harder than it use to be, ghosts have much better AI… detecting ghosts has been revamped + added items… it’s much different.
Oh, and don’t forget your tripods for the camera ^.^!
Sure a few people mentioned it but… the crucifix has to be on the floor to work. Basically, you find the place the ghost is.. you drop the crucifix down where the ghost is. (There’s a small AOE when crucifix is dropped). When the ghost should enter a hunt, and it’s within the AOE.. a charge of the crucifix is consumed. You should also be able to drop the crucifix in front of the ghost as it runs at you, though I’m not positive
The crucifix prevents hunting, it doesn't stop it, you have to put it down near where the ghost spawns before it starts a hunt

no you always were able to pick up the voodoo doll but your supposed to put it on the floor and it will run in the direction of the ghost . the ghost gets mad if you take the voodoo dolls out of the house
the Crucifix works great you just don't know how to use it
The crucifix works be throwing it at the ghost just as it goes into hunting while in the area where it spawns. Also the ghost will become more "noisy" before it goes to start hunting.

Also, say guns is near the ghosts area and meaty is outside of the house, guns flashlight will do the flashing but meatys light wont flash when its hunting becausehes farther away from the area..

The only things that i know from the cruxifix by other video's thats when the ghost start to hunt threw youre crucifix on the ground ITS PREVENTS that the ghost cannot walk in youre room or area and if gunns are Lucky he will be safe by standing behind you😱 BUT you can remove the ghost from the spawn location area by place or threw the crucifix into that room or area and hope fore the best that the ghost spawn location is behind gunns so he has a date for tonight👻 REMINDER the crucifix is a 1 time use object and can be taken by the ghost or by some species of the ghost💀P,.S i only know that its PREVENT you from hunted on that moment and that you can remove the ghos from the room

You are supposed to throw the cross down
You throw the crucifix on the ground it doesn’t work in your hand
You need to place the crucifix on the floor in the room of the Ghost where it'll spawn to hunt, it has a radius and if the Ghost tries to spawn near it it'll use up a charge. Once the Ghost already spawns in a hunt it's basically useless, if you want to repel a ghost and give yourself a chance to escape, light a smudge stick just before it reaches you.
